Browns' Nik Needham: Lands in Cleveland
The Browns signed Needham to a contract Monday.
Needham joins Cleveland as a veteran depth option at cornerback just days ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft. The 28-year-old spent the first six years of his NFL career with Miami, where he was a well-rounded contributor on defense prior to suffering an Achilles tear during the 2022 season, after which point he struggled to regain his prior form. Needham has experience in the slot, outside and at safety.

Dolphins' Nik Needham: Available Sunday
Needham (Achilles) is active ahead of Sunday's game against the Patriots.
The 26-year-old corner is in line to make his first appearance of the season, as he tore his Achilles during Miami's 2022 Week 6 contest. Needham will add depth to a Dolphins secondary that will be without Xavien Howard (groin) for the second consecutive game.

Dolphins' Nik Needham: Coming off PUP list
Miami activated Needham (Achilles) from its reserve/PUP list Tuesday.
The Dolphins originally designated Needham for return 20 days ago, and after a few weeks of practice, it seems he's finally on the precipice of returning to game action. He should see notable playing time as soon as he's back in pads.
