  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Staying in Los Angeles

Dicker will remain in Los Angeles after the Chargers picked up his exclusive rights free-agent tender Tuesday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports. Dicker finished last season converting 21 of his 22 field-goal tries and all 24 of his extra-point attempts. After leading the NFL in field goal percentage in his rookie season, the 22-year-old certainly did enough to give the Chargers confidence in handing over the starting job to him for the 2023 campaign. Assuming the offense can take a step forward next season under new coordinator Kellen Moore, Dicker should be a solid fantasy option.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Costly miss in loss

Dicker missed one of his four field-goal attempts but made all three of his extra-point tries in Saturday's 31-30 loss to the Jaguars in the wild-card round. Dicker missed merely one of 46 total attempts during the regular season, making it a big surprise when he missed from 40 yards during the fourth quarter. Although he still made kicks from 22, 23 and 50 yards while scoring double-digit points, Dicker's misfire Saturday proved costly in Los Angeles' narrow defeat. Given his wide success during his rookie campaign, however, Dicker should garner significant interest as a free agent this offseason.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Effective rookie season

Dicker finished the 2022-23 season converting 21 of his 22 field-goal tries and all 24 of his extra-point attempts. Dicker filled in admirably for Dustin Hopkins who missed the majority of the season with a hamstring injury. The rookie kicker led the NFL in field goal-percentage, but he missed the only kick he attempted from beyond 50 yards. While Dicker is a free agent this offseason, he certainly did enough to compete for the starting role either in Los Angeles or elsewhere.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Makes all attempts

Dicker made both of his field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 31-28 loss to the Broncos. Dicker converted from 48 and 36 yards on his field goals. The rookie was a revelation in his 10 games for the Chargers this season, making 19 of 20 field goals and all 22 of his PATs after being released by the Ravens and Eagles earlier in the campaign. He'll strive to keep his good form going in the wild-card round versus the Jaguars.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Kicker to Start

The Broncos have allowed a kicker to make multiple field goals in three of their past four games, and kickers in Denver have felt right at home. The past five road kickers in Denver have scored at least nine Fantasy points. Dustin Hopkins was the kicker for the Chargers in the first meeting with the Broncos in Week 6, and he made four field goals and one PAT against Denver for 13 Fantasy points. Dicker has top-five upside in Week 18.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Still perfect from field

Dicker made all four of his extra-point attempts and his lone field-goal try in the 31-10 win over the Rams. Dicker continues to be excellent, as he's missed just one kick since taking over as the starter back in Week 9. The undrafted rookie doesn't get many field-goal opportunities, but when he does, he's been relatively automatic, especially from shorter distances.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Perfect yet again

Dicker converted both of his field-goal attempts and extra-point tries in the 20-3 win over the Colts on Monday. Dicker continues to get simple chip shots when the offense struggles in the red zone, but with head coach Brandon Staley dialing back the aggression in recent weeks, the undrafted rookie free agent has been worthy of fantasy consideration. He's missed just one kick since taking over for injured starter Dustin Hopkins (hamstring).

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Good on game-winner

Dicker nailed both of his extra-point attempts and also the game-winning field goal Sunday in the 17-14 win over the Titans. The undrafted rookie free agent has been a revelation in replacement of the injured Dustin Hopkins (hamstring), as Dicker has missed just one kick -- a 52-yard attempt -- of any kind with the Chargers. More importantly, he's managed to also knock in two game-winning field goals during that stretch. The Chargers typically don't attempt many field goals given the aggressive nature of head coach Brandon Staley, but Dicker has been money with the few opportunities he's gotten.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Nets 11 points

Dicker made all three of his field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries in Sunday night's 23-17 win over the Dolphins. Dicker converted field goals from 33, 31 and 28 yards. In six games with the Chargers, he's missed just one of 26 attempts, racking up an impressive 51 total points.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Makes two field goals

Dicker made two of his three field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries against the Raiders during the 27-20 loss Sunday. Dicker missed just his first kick of the season as he continues to fill in admirably for Dustin Hopkins (hamstring). His one miss came from 52-yards out, so the rookie kicker still hasn't missed a kick within 50 yards. Despite remaining effective, Dicker's fantasy value was again hurt by head coach Brandon Staley's aggressive play calling, as he chose to pass up a 34-yard field-goal attempt early in the game, only to fail to convert on fourth down. If this aggressive play calling continues, it will make a tough matchup against a good Miami defense even more difficult.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Perfect in attempts

Dicker made his only field-goal attempt along with both of his extra-point tries in the 25-24 win against the Cardinals on Sunday. Dicker remained perfect on both field-goal and extra-point attempts on the season as he continues to fill in for Dustin Hopkins (hamstring), who was placed on injured reserve last week after suffering a setback. Though Dicker has been efficient so far, his fantasy value will continue to be mitigated by head coach Brandon Staley's aggressive play calling, which was evident this past week when the Chargers decided to try the two-point conversion for the win rather than kicking the extra point to tie it. Regardless, Dicker remains a solid option versus the Raiders this week, who've defensively struggled all year.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Signed from practice squad

The Chargers signed Dicker off their practice squad Tuesday. L.A. was out of elevations with Dicker, and because Dustin Hopkins continues to deal with a lingering hamstring strain, the team is going with the former as its placekicker for at least the next four games with the latter now on injured reserve. In three appearances so far with the Chargers, Dicker has made all seven field-goal attempts and all six point-after tries, averaging exactly nine points per game.

  • Cameron Dicker: Returns to practice squad

Dicker reverted to the Chargers' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log. Dicker served as the Bolts' starting kicker for the third week in a row as Dustin Hopkins (hamstring) remained out for Sunday's loss to the Chiefs. The practice-squad kicker converted both of his field-goal attempts and his lone point-after-try Week 11, and he has now gone a perfect 7-for-7 on his field-goal tries while making all six of his PATs over the past three games. Dicker will now require a full active-roster spot to continue filling in for Hopkins moving forward this season.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Kicking with Hopkins out

Fellow Chargers kicker Dustin Hopkins (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, so Dicker will kick for a third consecutive game. Dicker's enjoying a strong rookie season. He's been perfect when called upon to this point, making all seven field-goal attempts and going for 5-for-5 on PATs in three games for the Eagles and Chargers.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Set for kicking duties Week 10

The Chargers plan to elevate Dicker from the practice squad to have him serve as their kicker in Sunday's game against the 49ers, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports. With Dustin Hopkins (hamstring) not yet ready to return to action, Dicker will handle kicking duties for the Chargers for the second game in a row. The undrafted rookie out of Texas took home AFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors for Week 10 after converting both of his extra-point tries while nailing two fourth-quarter field-goal tries -- including a game-winning 37-yarder as time expired -- in the Chargers' 20-17 victory over the Falcons.

  • Cameron Dicker: Heads back to practice squad

Dicker reverted to the Chargers' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log. Dicker handled kicking duties for Los Angeles with Dustin Hopkins (hamstring) out for Week 9, and he converted both of his field-goal attempts, including a 37-yarder as time expired to secure the win. Dicker also made both of his point-after tries and is a perfect 4-for-4 on both field-goal attempts and PATs across two games between the Chargers and Eagles this season. Hopkins could return to face the 49ers in Week 10, but if he doesn't Dicker would likely get elevated again.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Will kick for L.A. in Week 9

Dicker, who signed with the Chargers' practice squad Thursday, will be elevated to the 53-man roster and handle kicking duties for Los Angeles during Sunday's game in Atlanta, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports. Dicker will become the third Chargers kicker of the season, following in the footsteps of Dustin Hopkins (hamstring) and Taylor Bertolet (quadriceps). Hopkins remains on the Chargers' active roster but is week-to-week and not on track to suit up Sunday, while Bertolet was moved to the Chargers' practice squad injured reserve Thursday with an injury of his own. The Chargers likely won't add Dicker to the roster until Saturday, but he'll be in line to make his second career NFL appearance Sunday. His debut came with the Eagles back in Week 5, when he knocked down both of his extra-point and field-goal tries.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Added to practice squad

The Chargers signed Dicker to the practice squad Thursday. Dicker previously spent time with Philadelphia's practice squad this season before being waived by the team this past Thursday. The undrafted rookie was elevated for the Eagles' Week 5 win against the Cardinals, making both of his field-goal attempts and going 2-for-2 on PATs. With Dustin Hopkins (hamstring) still sidelined and Taylor Bertolet (undisclosed) now on the Chargers' practice-squad injured list as well, Dicker should serve as the team's best option at kicker against Atlanta on Sunday.

  • Cameron Dicker: Cut by Philadelphia

Philadelphia cut Dicker from its practice squad Saturday. Dicker was elevated to the active roster for Week 5 with Jake Elliott out due to an ankle injury and made all four of his kicks, including a game-winning field goal. However, Elliott has been healthy over the last few weeks, leaving Dicker stranded on the practice squad. He was let go to make room for defensive end Tarron Jackson and will look for a new opportunity elsewhere.

  • Cameron Dicker: Reverts to practice squad

Dicker reverted to the Eagles' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log. Dicker was elevated to the active roster with Jake Elliott out with an ankle injury. Not only did Dicker connect on both of his field-goal attempts and PATs, he booted the go-ahead and eventual game-winning field goal with 1:45 remaining. If Elliott is unable to go Sunday against the Cowboys, Dicker will likely handle kicking duties again.
