Seahawks' Dee Eskridge: Questionable for Week 14
Eskridge (ribs) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers after logging a limited practice session Friday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Eskridge sat out Thursday's practice with a rib injury and returned Friday in a limited capacity. The injury forced him to sit out the Seahawks' Week 13 loss to the Cowboys. If Eskridge is unable to play Sunday, Zach Charbonnet (knee) figures to be the next man up for kick return duties, assuming he's able to suit up for the contest.

Seahawks' Dee Eskridge: Listed as questionable
Eskridge (ribs) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Cowboys after being a nonparticipant in Wednesday's practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Eskridge may be on the wrong side of questionable after logging back-to-back DNPs leading up to Thursday. The 27-year-old has had minimal impact on the Seattle offense this season, seeing just 16 snaps and one target in four contests. However, his potential absence could affect the team's return game and push Zach Charbonnet or DeeJay Dallas into kick-return duties.

Seahawks' Dee Eskridge: Limited at practice Monday
Eskridge (ribs) was a limited participant at practice Monday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Eskridge has played a limited role on offense for the Seahawks this season, but he's emerged as the team's top kick returner since returning from a six-game suspension to begin the campaign. During the Week 12 loss to San Francisco on Thanksgiving, he tallied 140 yards on four returns (including a 66-yarder) and carried once for 10 yards. It's unclear if Eskridge is at risk of missing this Thursday's game in Dallas, but if he does sit out, DeeJay Dallas could take over kick-return duties.

Seahawks' Dee Eskridge: Won't play again Week 10
Eskridge (coach's decision) has been ruled inactive ahead of Sunday's contest with the Commanders.
Eskridge will sit out after he failed to log an offensive snap in last week's loss to the Ravens. The 2021 second-round pick has appeared in two games since serving a six-game suspension to begin the season, but he's yet to log a target this season. In his absence, Dareke Young and Jake Bobo will serve as Seattle's fourth and fifth wideouts behind starters DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

Coach Pete Carroll said Saturday that Eskridge (suspension) sustained a "legit sprain" in his right knee during Thursday's preseason game against the Vikings, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
Eskridge suffered the injury while covering a kickoff Thursday. Carroll added that his recovery "could be a few weeks," which, if it comes to pass, will keep him out for the Seahawks' final two exhibitions. While Eskridge is eligible to play during exhibition season, he'll be serving a six-game suspension to begin the upcoming campaign due to a violation of the NFL's personal conduct policy. As a result, his first possible game action will come Oct. 29 versus the Browns.

The 2021 second-round pick can still practice this summer and play in preseason games but won't be eligible to make his regular-season debut until Oct. 29 against the Browns. It probably doesn't change much for the Seattle offense, as Eskridge is no better than fourth on a depth chart that includes WRs DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
