Doyle has a torn ACL in his right knee, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.
Doyle was placed on the Bills' injured reserve earlier in the week, but the nature of his knee injury was not known at the time. The torn ACL is in his left knee, as opposed to the ACL he tore in his right knee last season. It is an unfortunate injury for the 25-year-old, who will set his sights on another long road to recovery.

Bills' Tommy Doyle: Goes on IR
Doyle (knee) was placed on injured reserve Monday, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.
Doyle suffered the injury during Saturday's preseason contest with the Steelers and needed to be carted off the field. Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reported that the 25-year-old would be out for the season, so Doyle's move to IR doesn't come as a surprise. He'll now focus on getting healthy with his sights set on a return in 2024.

Doyle, who suffered a torn ACL in September of last year, hurt his knee again and sat out the rest of the game. While the 25-year-old tackle didn't need to go to the locker room, he did have trainers working on his knee in the medical tent. Doyle perhaps didn't suffer a serious injury, but it is unclear if he will be available for next week's preseason game against the Steelers.
