  • Lions' Josh Reynolds: Does little with three targets

Reynolds caught one of three targets for 12 yards during Sunday's win over the Saints.

Right when it looked like Reynolds was losing grip of the No. 2 WR role, he has his highest snap share since Week 8. However, it may not matter who holds down this role given how the passing game is flowing through Amon-Ra St. Brown and tight end Sam LaPorta. It will be hard to trust any other Lions receiver entering a Week 14 matchup with Chicago.

  • Lions' Josh Reynolds: Losing snaps

Reynolds caught two of four targets for 15 yards and one touchdown during Thursday's loss to the Packers.

Following three straight unproductive games, Reynolds may finally be losing his grip on the No. 2 role behind Amon-Ra St. Brown. His 58 percent snap share not only matched Jameson Williams but marked Reynolds' lowest figure of the year outside of a Week 5 matchup with the Panthers when Reynolds played through a groin injury. Meanwhile, Kalif Raymond saw his most offensive snaps in four games while Donovan Peoples-Jones saw seven of them after making his Lions debut last week against Chicago. While it's possible the Lions needed to get more bodies involved on a day the offense ran 84 plays, Reynolds will be harder and harder to trust if his snap share continues to shrink.

  • Lions' Josh Reynolds: Two targets against Bears

Reynolds caught one of two targets for 11 yards during Sunday's win over Chicago.

Reynolds has totaled four catches for 39 yards on seven targets over the past three weeks despite favorable matchups against the Raiders, Chargers and Bears. Meanwhile, Jameson Williams logged over half of the offensive snaps for the first time in his career last week in Los Angeles before shooting up to a nearly 68 percent figure against Chicago -- and snagging a 32-yard touchdown in the process. While Reynolds still finished second behind Amon-Ra St. Brown with a 73 percent snap share, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Williams jump Reynolds on the depth chart before season's end.

  • Lions' Josh Reynolds: Slump continues

Reynolds caught two of four targets for 15 yards during Sunday's win over the Chargers.

After snagging three touchdowns and topping 66 receiving yards four times over the first five games of the year, Reynolds has caught just four of eight targets for 121 yards without a score in four games since. Given that he didn't drop below 70 percent of the offensive snaps in any game over this stretch, playing time isn't to blame for Reynolds' decrease in production. With Donovan Peoples-Jones in the fold plus Jameson Williams fresh off a career-high 52 percent snap share, it could get even harder for Reynolds to earn targets down the stretch.
