Player Outlook
Hollins joined the Falcons in the offseason and he'll battle Scott Miller for the target leftovers behind Drake London and Kyle Pitts. Last year's 94 targets were a career high for Hollins, and last year London was the only Falcon to average even four catches per game. In other words, Hollins likely needs an injury to have any chance at being on a Fantasy roster. You can leave him on the waiver wire in all but the deepest of leagues for as long as Pitts and London stay healthy.

  • Falcons' Mack Hollins: Inactive again

Hollins (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Jets, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports. Hollins logged two limited sessions during Week 13 prep - one more than last week - but will remain sidelined for a third straight game. He hasn't played since Week 9 against the Vikings, when he caught three passes for 36 yards, but even when he's cleared to return, Hollins won't hold much fantasy value as the third- or fourth pass-catching option in one of the worst passing offenses in the NFL.

  • Falcons' Mack Hollins: Questionable for Sunday

Hollins (ankle) will be listed as questionable for Sunday's game at the Jets, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports. Hollins got a lot of snaps earlier in the year, but it never translated to many targets, and his playing time then began to fall off. He hasn't played since Week 9, and if he returns this Sunday, it'll likely be as part of a three- of four-man rotation sharing snaps behind top wide receiver Drake London in one of the worst passing offenses in the NFL.

  • Falcons' Mack Hollins: Stays limited Thursday

Hollins (ankle) practiced on a limited basis Thursday, Amna Subhan of the Falcons' official site reports. Hollins appears to be in a better spot than last week, when he managed just one limited listing on Atlanta's injury report before being ruled out ahead of this past Sunday's contest against the Saints. With a pair of capped showings so far during Week 13 prep, he may be putting himself in a position for his first game action since Week 9. Friday's report will reveal whether or not Hollins enters the weekend with a designation for Sunday's visit to the Jets.

  • Falcons' Mack Hollins: Ruled out for Saints matchup

Hollins (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Saints, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports. The wideout will miss a second straight game despite having a Week 11 bye in between. Van Jefferson and KhaDarel Hodge are the strongest candidates to play a lot of snaps across from WR Drake London this Sunday, with Scotty Miller also likely to have some kind of role. None figures to see a lot of targets, as the Falcons have two tight ends (Kyle Pitts, Jonnu Smith) and a running back (Bijan Robinson) that consistently get more looks than the team's Nos. 2 and 3 wide receivers. Hollins' next chance to play is Week 13 at the Jets.

  • Falcons' Mack Hollins: Not practicing Thursday

Hollins (ankle) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Scott Bair of the Falcons' official site reports. Hollins operated with a cap on his reps Wednesday, so his downgrade in activity one day later is a worrisome sign for his potential to play Week 12. Friday's injury report could be telling for Hollins in that regard.

  • Falcons' Mack Hollins: On track for limited practice

Hollins (ankle) will be a limited participant at practice Wednesday, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Hollins didn't practice at all ahead of the Falcons' Week 10 loss to the Cardinals, but after Atlanta's Week 11 bye, the wideout is trending in the right direction ahead of Sunday's game against the Saints. If Hollins is able to return to action this weekend, he'll only be an option in deeper fantasy formats. Through nine games this season, Hollins has generated a 17-247-0 receiving line on 29 targets.

  • Falcons' Mack Hollins: Not practicing

Hollins (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game at Arizona. Hollins lost playing time to Van Jefferson and KhaDarel Hodge the past couple weeks and now will miss his first game of the season. It shouldn't have much impact on Atlanta's gameplan, especially with Drake London cleared to return after missing Week 9 with a groin injury. Hollins stands a decent chance to avoid additional absences with the Falcons on bye Week 11.

  • Falcons' Mack Hollins: Not at practice

Hollins (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday, Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site reports. Hollins' absence isn't surprising after head coach Arthur Smith said Monday that the wideout's ankle injury was the most worrisome of the new injuries acquired during a loss to the Vikings on Sunday. In any case, Hollins had been minimized in the offense in recent weeks, only reappearing as a significant contributor this past Sunday because Drake London (groin) was inactive. London returned to practice Wednesday, and the Falcons also seem to view KhaDarel Hodge and Van Jefferson as either ahead of Hollins or on similar footing.

  • Falcons' Mack Hollins: Season-low 14 offensive snaps

Hollins caught two of three targets for 27 yards during Sunday's 28-23 loss to the Titans. Hollins played at least 65 percent of the team's offensive snaps in each of the first four weeks, including a season-high 79 percent against the Jaguars in Week 4. However, his playing time has dropped since, culminating in a season-low 14 offensive snaps versus Tennessee. The wideout actually played more on special teams (25 snaps) than he did on offense Sunday. This is especially concerning given Drake London (groin) left the game in the third quarter and never returned. Hollins doesn't need to be on fantasy radars in standard leagues until he proves otherwise.

  • Falcons' Mack Hollins: Not targeted in win

Hollins failed to record a single target in Sunday's 16-13 win over the Buccaneers. Hollins was held without a target for the first time Sunday, as the receiver continued to see a drop in playing time. The veteran wideout has now played fewer than 30 offensive snaps in three straight games and played behind Drake London and Van Jefferson in the contest. It is possible that Jefferson's presence could limit Hollins' opportunities going forward, making the latter even more difficult to trust for fantasy purposes. The 30-year-old will look to bounce back in Week 8 when the Falcons visit the Titans.

  • Falcons' Mack Hollins: Sees drop in playing time

Hollins caught three of four targets for 41 yards during Sunday's 24-16 loss to the Commanders. Hollins has played fewer than 30 offensive snaps in back-to-back games after totaling 180 through the first four weeks of the season. Despite seeing a drop in playing time, the wideout has still been a part of the passing attack, securing five receptions (six targets) for 70 yards over the past two games. However, that's not enough production to crack fantasy relevancy in standard leagues. The Falcons' run-heavy offense has actually been airing it out recently, but Hollins remains, at best, the fourth or fifth option in the passing attack.

  • Falcons' Mack Hollins: Held without catch

Hollins failed to record a catch on three targets during Sunday's 23-7 loss to Jacksonville. Hollins went catchless for the first time this season, and at one point, he appeared to be visibly frustrated with Desmond Ridder on the sidelines. Fantasy managers probably don't need to read too much into the incident, but it's certainly worth noting, especially when Atlanta has the highest-paid backup quarterback, Taylor Heinicke, waiting in the wings if Ridder continues to struggle. After an encouraging start, Hollins' production has dropped off in back-to-back weeks. He's garnered at least three targets in each game thus far, but that's not enough usage to crack fantasy relevance in standard leagues.

  • Falcons' Mack Hollins: Makes splash play in win

Hollins caught three of six targets for 60 yards during Sunday's 25-24 win over the Packers. Hollins has caught three passes in back-to-back weeks to open the season and is firmly entrenched as Atlanta's No. 2 wideout, as he played over 45 more snaps than Scotty Miller and KhaDarel Hodge. The majority of Hollins' production came on a trick play in the fourth quarter, which essentially sparked the Falcons' comeback win. The wideout also had a touchdown in the third quarter called back after a controversial review. It was a solid performance, but Hollins' fantasy value remains limited while operating in a run-heavy offense.

  • Falcons' Mack Hollins: Locked in as No. 2 WR

Hollins didn't play in Atlanta's preseason finale against the Steelers. Hollins, along with the rest of Atlanta's starters, only played in Week 2 of the preseason. The wideout caught both of his targets for 20 yards during the exhibition versus Cinncinati, and his exclusion from the preseason finale suggests he's a coveted piece of the Falcons offense moving forward. While Hollins is the No. 2 wideout on the depth chart, he's likely to operate as the fourth pass-catching option behind Drake London, Kyle Pitts and Bijan Robinson. Given Desmond Ridder's presumed hiccups as a first-time starter and Hollins' current standing in the offense, it'll be difficult for the wideout to replicate the career-high numbers (57 catches on 94 targets for 690 yards and four TDs) he set with Las Vegas last year, which he was able to accrue due to injuries to Darren Waller, Hunter Renfrow and Davante Adams.

  • Falcons' Mack Hollins: Lands in Atlanta

Hollins agreed to a one-year deal with the Falcons on Sunday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports. Hollins had a career-best performance with the Raiders in 2022, appearing in all 17 games and securing 57 of 94 targets for 690 yards and four touchdowns. The 29-year-old will attempt to carve out a role in Atlanta behind Drake London in 2023.

  • Raiders' Mack Hollins: Two catches in finale

Hollins caught two of three targets for 15 yards in Saturday's 31-13 loss to the Chiefs. Hollins paced the Raiders' wide receiver corps in offensive snaps played Saturday with 66 of a possible 70 for 94 percent, but he averaged just five yards per target while Davante Adams and Hunter Renfrow combined for 12 catches on 16 targets for 136 yards and a touchdown. Despite catching only six passes for 62 yards on nine targets throughout the team's final three games, Hollins still managed to more than triple his previous career high in single-season receptions, posting a 57-690-4 line on 94 targets in 17 games during his first year with Las Vegas. Slated to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, he could be on the move if the Raiders elect against re-signing the 29-year-old.

  • Raiders' Mack Hollins: Minimal involvement in loss

Hollins caught one of two targets for seven yards in Saturday's 13-10 loss to the Steelers. Hollins played 50 of the Raiders' 53 offensive snaps in the contest as the team's No. 2 receiver, but the 29-year-old was unable to do much damage. Despite playing double the snaps of No. 3 wideout Hunter Renfrow, Hollins was basically a non-factor Saturday while Renfrow caught four of his seven targets for 42 yards and the Raiders' only touchdown. Hollins has posted up-and-down performances over the course of the 2022 season, making him difficult to trust for fantasy purposes when the Raiders host the 49ers in Week 17.

  • Raiders' Mack Hollins: Garners 62 total yards in loss

Hollins brought in two of four targets for 22 yards and rushed three times for 40 yards in the Raiders' 17-16 loss to the Rams on Thursday night. The veteran receiver was surprisingly the Raiders' second-leading rusher behind Josh Jacobs, and he was also the runner-up to Davante Adams in receptions, receiving yards and targets. Hollins' catch and yardage tallies were his lowest since Week 10, while his target total was his sparsest since Week 9. With Hunter Renfrow (oblique) and Darren Waller (hamstring) both potentially set to come off injured reserve for a Week 15 home game versus the Patriots a week from Sunday, Hollins could see his volume remain modest in that contest.

  • Raiders' Mack Hollins: Week 14 Adds (WR Preview)

Davante Adams is the only sure thing in the Raiders passing game, but Hollins looks solid as the No. 2 as long as Renfrow and Darren Waller remain out. If that's the case, he's a solid No. 3 wide receiver this week.

  • Raiders' Mack Hollins: Sleepers (Start/Sit)

This might be Hollins' last chance to be a prominent member of the Raiders passing attack with Darren Waller (hamstring) and Hunter Renfrow (oblique) nearing returns to the field. With both out, we've seen Hollins play well opposite Davante Adams and get nine targets in two of his past three games, scoring at least 11 PPR points in two outings over that span. With six teams on a bye in Week 14, Hollins can be used as a No. 3 PPR receiver against the Rams, who have allowed four receivers to score at least 12 PPR points in their past three games.
