K.J. Wright: Retires as a Seahawk
Wright signed a one-day contract with Seattle on Wednesday so he could retire as a Seahawk, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Wright played 10 seasons in Seattle before playing with Las Vegas in 2021. He closes out an illustrious NFL career with a whopping 986 tackles and 11 forced fumbles over 161 games, and he was a key contributor on the team that won Super Bowl XLVIII.

The Raiders activated Wright (illness) from the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday.
Wright landed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday after testing positive for the virus, but he'll now be able to rejoin the team. He should be available for Sunday's Week 17 matchup against Indianapolis.

Wright (illness) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday after testing positive for the virus, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Wright and fellow linebackers Denzel Perryman, Cory Littleton and Patrick Onwuasor all tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday. The Raiders' linebacking corps will have its depth tested if none of them are able to clear the health and safety protocols in time to play Week 17.

Raiders' K.J. Wright: Role change for Monday
Wright will start at middle linebacker for the Raiders on Monday against the Cleveland, Steve Wyche of NFL Network reports.
With Will Compton being ruled out Monday due to personal reasons and Denzel Perryman already confirmed to be unavailable with an ankle injury, Wright will shift from his usual role of starting strong-side linebacker to the middle. Patrick Onwuasor is the most likely candidate to start on the strong side for the Raiders on Monday against Cleveland.
