The Saints ended up posting 408 yards, which included 354 passing yards, in Sunday's season opener against the Cardinals. However, Arizona held quarterback Drew Brees and the Saints' offense to 19 points, which the defense was certainly happy about.
“You know you’re dealing with an elite quarterback,” safety Tyrann Mathieu said, per the team's official website. “His mindset is to put points on the board for his team. I think we did a great job keeping those guys out of the end zone.”
