Cardinals safety Deone Bucannon matched his career high with eight tackles (seven solo) during Sunday's loss to the Rams.
As a rookie in 2014, Bucannon tallied eight tackles on two occasions, and he a reached that threshold for the first time this season. Acting as a pseudo-linebacker has ensured that five defensive backs are on the field at all times, which may hinder his ability to achieve the monster tackle totals of true middle linebackers.
No matter, his role should keep him near the top of the category among Cardinals defenders, as his 24 tackles rank second to Calais Campbell's 25.
