Raymond scored a power-play goal on three shots and went minus-1 in Saturday's 5-1 loss to Tampa Bay. Raymond recorded his fifth power-play goal of the campaign at 14:12 of the middle frame, but that was all Andrei Vasilevskiy allowed despite Detroit heavily outshooting Tampa Bay. Raymond is riding a seven-game point streak consisting of four goals and 12 points. The right-shot winger has been held off the scoresheet only once over his last 11 outings. Todd McLellan seems to have unlocked a new level to Raymond's game after taking over as head coach Dec. 27. The 22-year-old is on track for a career year, having accumulated 19 goals and 31 helpers (24 on the power play) across 45 appearances this season.... See More ... See Less

Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Extends point streak to six games
Raymond provided two assists, including one on the power play, in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Panthers. Raymond added three shots on net and two PIM in the win. During his six-game point streak, the winger has racked up three goals, eight assists and six power-play points. He's cruising on offense, as many of the Red Wings' top performers have been since Todd McLellan took over as head coach. Raymond is at 18 goals, 31 assists, 93 shots on net and a minus-5 rating through 44 appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Riding five-game point streak
Raymond scored a goal on five shots in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Sharks. Raymond extended his point streak to five games (three goals, six assists) with a tally midway through the third period that got the Red Wings within one. The Sharks didn't collapse and grew their lead over the final 10 minutes. Raymond now has 18 goals, 29 assists, 90 shots on net and a minus-6 rating through 43 appearances. He's above a point-per-game pace this season, something he hasn't done in his first three NHL campaigns, so he's well on his way to a career year.... See More ... See Less -
Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Nabs two apples against Seattle
Raymond provided two assists, one on the man advantage, in Sunday's 6-2 win over Seattle. Raymond helped out on goals by Marco Kasper and Alex DeBrincat in the victory. The 22-year-old Raymond has gotten on the scoresheet in four consecutive games, generating two goals and six helpers during that stretch. In his last eight games, the Swedish winger has recorded five multi-point performances and has been held off the scoresheet only once. Raymond is spearheading Detroit's offensive output in 2024-25 with 17 goals and 46 points through 42 contests.... See More ... See Less -
Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Pair of points in Friday's win
Raymond scored a power-play goal on three shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Friday's 5-3 win over the Blackhawks. Raymond earned his fourth multi-point effort over seven games since the holiday break. In that span, he has four goals and seven assists, providing high-quality offense in a top-line role. Raymond is up to 17 tallies, 44 points (21 on the power play), 84 shots on net and a minus-5 rating through 41 appearances. It's already been a career year on the power play for the 22-year-old, and he's on pace to top the 80-point mark for the first time as well.... See More ... See Less -
Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Three-point performance in win
Raymond scored a power-play goal on three shots and added a pair of assists in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Jets. One of Raymond's helpers also came on the power play. The winger is cruising since the holiday break, earning three goals, five assists and five power-play points over his last five outings. The surge has him up to 16 goals, 41 points (19 on the power play), 79 shots on net and a minus-7 rating through 39 contests overall.... See More ... See Less -
Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Two helpers against Pens
Raymond picked up two assists, one on the power play, in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Penguins. It's the second straight multi-point performance for Raymond, and his sixth in 14 December appearances as he delivered eight goals and 15 points on the month. The 22-year-old winger has found another gear in 2024-25, and after setting new career highs with 31 goals and 72 points last season, Raymond's on pace to top those numbers in the current campaign.... Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Back on scoresheet in defeat
Raymond potted a power-play goal on his only shot in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Maple Leafs. Raymond snapped Joseph Woll's shutout bid on the power play at 8:17 of the third period. The goal snapped a three-game point drought for Raymond, which was his longest dry spell of the campaign. That's incredible consistency for a 22-year-old on a Detroit club that is struggling mightily. The right-shot winger is tracking toward a career year, and he's leading the Wings in scoring with 14 goals and 34 points through 35 contests.... See More ... See Less -
Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Scoring surge continues
Raymond scored an empty-net goal and added a power-play assist in Wednesday's 6-4 win over the Flyers. The fourth overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft continued an incredible hot streak that has seen him light the lamp 11 times in the last 13 games, with 16 total points during that span. Remarkably, only one of those tallies has come with the man advantage, suggesting there may be even more upside lurking in Raymond's fantasy profile given that he's a fixture on Detroit's first power-play unit. On the season, the 22-year-old winger has popped for 13 goals and 33 points in 31 contests as he heads toward a career-best campaign.... See More ... See Less -
Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Fills empty cage
Raymond scored an empty-net goal on two shots in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Maple Leafs. Raymond has 10 goals and four assists over his last 12 outings, going no more than one game without a goal in that span. The 22-year-old winger is up to 12 tallies, 31 points, 63 shots on net and a minus-2 rating over 30 appearances. Raymond's slow start to the year is a distant memory, and he's cementing his status as one of the Red Wings' most reliable forwards.... See More ... See Less -
Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Two points in shootout win
Raymond picked up a goal and an assist in Monday's 6-5 shootout win over the Sabres. He was also one of two Detroit skaters to beat James Reimer in the shootout, sweeping in from the faceoff circle before deking to his backhand and slipping the puck past the goalie's outstretched skate. Raymond has gotten onto the scoresheet in 10 of the last 11 games, racking up nine goals and 14 points over that stretch, as he surges toward a career-best campaign.... See More ... See Less -
Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Scores vs. Colorado
Raymond scored a goal in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Avalanche. Raymond deflected a shot past Alexandar Georgiev in the dying stages of the second period, but that was all the offense the Red Wings would muster in this contest. Raymond has been playing at a high level of late, cracking the scoresheet in all but one of his last 10 contests while notching eight goals and four assists in that span.... See More ... See Less -
Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Carries offense in loss
Raymond scored two goals in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Bruins. Both tallies highlighted Raymond's lightning-quick release, as he beat Joonas Korpisalo glove side in the first and third periods, but the Red Wings couldn't generate any additional offense. Raymond is one of the hottest snipers in the league right now, and eight of his nine goals on the season have come in the last 10 games.... See More ... See Less -
Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Extends scoring streak Friday
Raymond scored a goal in Friday's 5-4 loss to the Devils. Raymond has found the back of the net in a season-high five consecutive games, elevating his total to seven through 23 appearances in 2024-25. He has collected 16 assists to give 23 points this campaign.... See More ... See Less -
Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Plays hero again Wednesday
Raymond scored the overtime winner and added an assist, both on the power play, in Wednesday's 2-1 victory over the Flames. The 22-year-old winger extended his goal streak to four games in style -- Raymond collected the puck along the boards, drifted into the slot and wired a shot inside the far post that Dan Vladar simply couldn't handle. Three of Raymond's tallies during his streak have been game-winners, while Wednesday's strike was his first power-play goal of the campaign. The fourth overall pick in the 2020 Draft is up to six goals and 22 points in 22 contests as he steams toward a career-best season.... See More ... See Less -
Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Keeps scoring streak alive
Raymond scored a goal in Monday's 4-2 win over the Islanders. Raymond found the back of the net for the third game in a row, and two of those goals have been game-winners. His tip-in Monday ended up being the deciding tally during a contest in which the Red Wings were behind twice. Raymond is up to five goals and 15 assists this season, but after scoring four of his five goals across his last six appearances, there's no question he's trending in the right direction.... See More ... See Less -
Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Earns two points in loss
Raymond scored a goal on two shots and dished a power-play assist in Friday's 6-4 loss to the Ducks. Raymond's goal put the Red Wings ahead 3-1 in the second period, and he helped out on an Alex DeBrincat tally in the third after Detroit fell behind. The goal was Raymond's second of the year, though he has six assists during a seven-game goal drought. The winger is at 16 points (nine on the power play), 27 shots on net and a minus-2 rating through 16 appearances. He's too talented to be held down by bad luck all season, so expect a rebound in scoring at some point.... See More ... See Less -
Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Stays warm with assist
Raymond provided an assist in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Blackhawks. Raymond has a goal and seven assists over his last six games, with five of those eight points coming on the power play. The 22-year-old winger continues to shuffle between the first and second lines, trading places with Patrick Kane regularly, but both are part of the first power-play unit. Raymond has been an excellent playmaker with a goal and 11 assists through 12 outings, but he was a 30-goal scorer last year and is shooting just 5.3 percent, so things should eventually balance out a bit.... See More ... See Less -
Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Two PP helpers in loss
Raymond picked up two power-play assists in Wednesday's 6-2 loss to the Jets. Both points came in the second period, but Detroit was already in a 3-0 hole before its offense got rolling. Raymond has three multi-point performances in the last four games, and through 10 contests on the season the 22-year-old winger has a goal and 10 points.... See More ... See Less -
Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Two apples in win
Raymond produced two power-play assists in Thursday's 5-3 win against the Devils. Raymond added two PIM and a plus-1 rating in 20:27 of ice time. The Swedish forward had been held off the scoresheet in back-to-back games before setting up a couple of tallies Thursday. Raymond potted 31 goals over 82 regular-season games in 2023-24, but he hasn't found the back of the net through seven appearances this season. The 22-year-old has collected six helpers and a plus-2 rating while serving on the top line and No. 1 power-play unit.... See More ... See Less
