DeBrusk scored a goal and added three assists while recording four shots, a hit and a plus-4 rating in Sunday's 7-0 rout of the Sabres. He notched a helper in each period, while his tally midway through the first period gave the Bruins a 3-0 lead. DeBrusk had been in a bit of a scoring lull, managing just two goals and three points over his prior eight games, but his spot on Boston's top line makes him a threat to break out at any time. On the season, the 26-year-old has 22 goals and a career-high 44 points through 51 contests.... See More ... See Less

Bruins' Jake DeBrusk: Pockets two assists in overtime win
DeBrusk earned a pair of assists in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Flames. DeBrusk has three goals and four helpers over six games since he returned from a lower-body injury. One of his assists Tuesday came on the power play. The winger continues to log top-line minutes, and it's been a good role for him with 19 tallies and 18 assists through 42 contests this season. He needs another six points to match his career-high total from his rookie year in 2017-18.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Jake DeBrusk: Nets late winner
DeBrusk scored a goal on seven shots in Thursday's 6-5 win over the Kraken. DeBrusk has a goal in three straight games since he returned from a lower-body injury. His goal Thursday was a clutch deflection of a Charlie McAvoy shot with 1:38 left in the third period, giving the Kraken too little time to bounce back. DeBrusk has immediately resumed his top-line duties, and that's a role that should continue to be fruitful for him. He has 19 goals, 34 points, 124 shots on net, 58 hits and a plus-17 rating through 39 contests this season.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Jake DeBrusk: Scores in win

Bruins' Jake DeBrusk: Two points in return from injury
DeBrusk (lower body) had a goal and assist in a 6-2 win over the Islanders on Saturday. He played 13:07 in his first game back after missing 17 due to hand and leg injuries suffered at the Winter Classic at Fenway Park on Jan. 2. DeBrusk's goal came on the power play early in the first period, when he finished a tic-tac-toe sequence with a backhander through Semyon Varlamov's five hole.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Jake DeBrusk: Ready to rock
DeBrusk (lower body) will be activated off long-term injured reserve and return to the lineup Saturday versus the Islanders, Conor Ryan of Boston.com reports. DeBrusk was on a roll before missing 17 games with a lower-body issue, having racked up five goals and seven points through his last six appearances. Look for him to return to a top-six role and a spot on one of the power-play units against the Isles.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Jake DeBrusk: Will not play Thursday
DeBrusk (lower body) will not play Thursday in Nashville but could return as early as Saturday, Kevin Paul Dupont of The Boston Globe reports. DeBrusk has been practicing with the Bruins, and though coach Jim Montgomery ruled the forward out of action Thursday, he said that Saturday was a possibility for his return against the Islanders. DeBrusk was injured in the Winter Classic on Jan. 2 and has not played since. He has 16 goals and 30 points in 36 games this season.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Jake DeBrusk: Doubtful for Tuesday
DeBrusk (lower body) is doubtful for Tuesday's game against Dallas, Matt Porter of The Boston Globe reports. DeBrusk rotated in on the fourth line, as a full participant, during Monday's practice. Coach Jim Montgomery said after the session that the Bruins forward is probable to return Thursday in Nashville. DeBrusk, who has been out since Jan. 2, has 16 goals, 30 points, 109 shots on net and 51 hits in 36 games this season.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Jake DeBrusk: Not expected to return Saturday
DeBrusk (lower body) isn't expected to return for Saturday's game against Washington, per Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic. DeBrusk's flight from his hometown of Edmonton to meet up with the Bruins has been cancelled. He has 16 goals and 30 points in 36 contests while averaging 17:08 of ice time this season. The 26-year-old was last in the lineup Jan. 2.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Jake DeBrusk: Should be ready after break
Coach Jim Montgomery would be "shocked" if DeBrusk (lower body) wasn't ready to return following the All-Star break against the Capitals on Feb. 11, Steve Conroy of the Boston Herald reports. Although DeBrusk will miss a 14th straight game Wednesday versus Toronto, it sounds like his absence will almost certainly come to an end following the All-Star break. The 26-year-old winger was on a roll before missing time with multiple injuries, having racked up five goals and seven points through his last six games.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Jake DeBrusk: Beginning rehab process
DeBrusk (lower body) is expected to begin skating Monday, Conor Ryan of Boston.com reports. DeBrusk has missed the last nine games and is currently stashed on long-term injured reserve. The 26-year-old has 16 goals and 30 points in 36 games this season, with seven points over his last six appearances. DeBrusk will likely work on his own for a bit before returning to practice.... Bruins' Jake DeBrusk: Placed on long-term injured reserve
DeBrusk (lower body) was placed on long-term injured reserve Thursday. DeBrusk is dealing with both a hand injury and a lower-body issue suffered during the Winter Classic and is expected to be sidelined for approximately four weeks. He stood out against the Penguins on Monday, scoring both goals in a 2-1 win. DeBrusk has 16 goals and 30 points in 36 games this season.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Jake DeBrusk: Dealing with lower-body injury
DeBrusk has a lower-body injury and didn't travel with the Bruins for their upcoming three-game road trip, per Steve Conroy of the Boston Herald. DeBrusk scored twice in Monday's 2-1 win over Pittsburgh, but he was seen after the game wearing a protective boot on his left leg, Joe Haggerty of Boston Hockey Now reports. If DeBrusk is consequently not an option for the Bruins' road trip, then he'll miss games against Los Angeles on Thursday, San Jose on Saturday and Anaheim on Sunday. Boston will then return home to face Seattle on Jan. 12. DeBrusk has 16 goals and 30 points in 36 contests this season. His absence might lead to Trent Frederic playing a bigger role.... See More ... Bruins' Jake DeBrusk: Leads Bruins to victory
DeBrusk scored twice in Boston's 2-1 victory over Pittsburgh on Monday in the Winter Classic. Both of DeBrusk's goals came in the third period, and the game-winner was scored with just 2:24 remaining in the frame. The 26-year-old has 16 goals and 30 points in 36 games this season. His offensive pace is well ahead of what he did 2021-22, when DeBrusk finished with 25 goals and 42 points in 77 contests.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Jake DeBrusk: Contributes power-play goal
DeBrusk found the back of the net in a 3-2 victory against Winnipeg on Thursday. DeBrusk's marker came at 15:00 of the second period and was scored with the man advantage. He has 12 goals and 24 points in 30 games, including 10 power-play points. He has a place on the Bruins' top power-play unit and as long as that's the case, the 26-year-old should be a solid offensive contributor.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Jake DeBrusk: Three points against Isles
DeBrusk scored two goals, one on the power play, and added a short-handed assist in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Islanders. He lit the lamp twice in the first eight minutes to give the Bruins an early lead, then helped set up Derek Forbort late in the second to put Boston back out in front 3-2. DeBrusk even potted one of his team's two successful shootout attempts to secure the win. The 26-year-old extended his point streak to four games with the big performance, and over his last 12 contests he's picked up six goals and 12 points, giving the Bruins some key secondary scoring behind the Perfection Line.... Bruins' Jake DeBrusk: Tallies in road win
DeBrusk scored a goal on two shots and added six hits in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Golden Knights. DeBrusk gave the Bruins a 2-1 lead at 2:10 of the third period, and his goal stood as the game-winner. He's picked up two goals and two helpers in his last five outings while continuing to skate on the top line. The winger has nine goals, 20 points, 80 shots, 39 hits and a plus-10 rating through 26 contests overall, and as long as he's sharing ice with Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand, there's reason to be optimistic about DeBrusk's offense.... Bruins' Jake DeBrusk: Registers assist in loss
DeBrusk posted an assist, two shots on goal and five hits in Friday's 4-3 loss to the Coyotes. DeBrusk has assists in each of the last two games, but he's managed just four points in his last seven outings. The 26-year-old winger continues to play on the top line at even strength as well as the Bruins' top power-play unit, so he'll continue to get his looks on offense. For the season, he's at eight goals, 11 assists, 78 shots on net, 33 hits and a plus-9 rating in 25 outings.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Jake DeBrusk: Nets goal No. 100
DeBrusk capped the scoring during Saturday's 5-1 victory over the visiting Avalanche. Ten seconds after Trent Frederic all but sealed the Bruins' record-setting 14th straight home win to open the season Saturday, DeBrusk stole the spotlight with his milestone marker. The 2015 first-round draft pick converted his 100th career tally off a third-period rebound during his 343rd game. DeBrusk, who added three shots and two blocks during the win, believed he scored during the second period, but the officials determined the net was dislodged before the puck crossed the goal line.... Bruins' Jake DeBrusk: Three points in Monday's win
DeBrusk scored two goals and added an assist in Monday's 5-3 win over the Panthers. His two tallies bookended the scoring on the night -- DeBrusk potted an unassisted goal just 21 seconds into the first period after he stole the puck at center ice, then flipped home an empty-netter from his own blue line with 63 seconds left in the third. In between, he set up Patrice Bergeron for Boston's second goal midway through the second frame. The points were DeBrusk's first of the year, but if he can stick on a line with Bergeron, this likely won't be his last big fantasy performance of the season.... See More ... See Less
