Reggie Bonnafon: Bumps back down to practice squad
Bonnafon reverted to the Commanders' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Bonnafon was elevated for Sunday's regular-season finale versus Dallas after signing with the Commanders' active roster Thursday. The 27-year-old didn't see significant playing time with No. 1 running back Brian Robinson (knee) inactive and Antonio Gibson (knee) on IR, though he did record eight rushing yards while carrying the ball on each of his three offensive snaps.

Commanders' Reggie Bonnafon: Bumped up for Week 18
The Commanders elevated Bonnafon from the practice squad Saturday for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
Bonnafon has yet to appear in a game this season, though he'll be called upon to provide depth at running back after top running back and rookie Brian Robinson (knee) was ruled out for the regular-season finale versus Dallas. The 27-year-old Bonnafon recorded 29 carries for 185 yards and one touchdown across 22 regular-season games during his first three seasons with Carolina. With Antonio Gibson (knee) and J.D. McKissic (neck) both on injured reserve, Bonnafon should be in line for No. 3 duties behind Jonathan Williams and Jaret Patterson in Week 18.

Reggie Bonnafon: Gets another chance with Washington
The Commanders signed Bonnafon to their practice squad Thursday, Zach Selby of the team's official site reports.
Bonnafon was waived by Washington at the end of training camp earlier this season, but he's since returned to the team's practice squad Thursday, where he'll temporarily serve as additional running back depth. With Brian Robinson (knee) currently listed as questionable for the Week 18 clash against the Cowboys and both Antonio Gibson (knee) and J.D. McKissic (neck) on injured reserve, Bonnafon could find himself on the Commanders' 53-man roster Sunday behind Jonathan Williams and Jaret Patterson if Robinson sits out.

Bonnafon signed a reserve/future contract with the Commanders in January, but he failed to do enough this summer to crack the final roster. The running back played in four games with the Panthers last year, operating mostly as a special-teams option. Bonnafon will likely sign with the Commanders' practice squad if he clears waivers.
