Tryon-Shoyinka was sidelined for Week 13 against the Panthers due to a high-ankle sprain he suffered against the Giants in Week 12. He was able to finish the week strong with a full practice Friday, and he appears to be on track to play Sunday. Tryon-Shoyinka was able to log consecutive limited practices to end the week, but he earned the doubtful tag following Friday's session. Tryon-Shoyinka sprained his ankle in the second quarter against the Giants last Sunday and didn't return. He managed a DNP/LP/LP practice progression this week, but his designation of doubtful suggests that he's unlikely to play Sunday. Tryon-Shoyinka sustained a sprained ankle during Sunday's game against the Giants, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Tryon-Shoyinka was forced out of the Buccaneers' contest in Week 12 early by an ankle injury, which coach Todd Bowles confirmed Monday to be a sprain.
