McMath was added to the Colts' practice squad Thursday.
McMath spent OTAs and training camp with the Titans before failing to make it through final roster cuts. Overall, he suited up for 14 games with Tennessee over the previous two years and compiled four receptions for 48 yards, one carry for four yards and seven special-teams tackles in the process. He will now stay in the division and look to acclimate to the Colts' playbook.

McMath was sidelined with an undisclosed injury for nearly the entire season, though he managed to make his debut in Week 14. McMath recorded one catch on two targets for 39 yards in Thursday's 27-13 loss to the Cowboys.
McMath played only 15 snaps, the fifth-highest number among the Titans' receiving corps. However, he still managed to finish tied for the second-most yards on the team thanks to a long reception early in the second quarter. McMath has yet to play more than 34 percent of offensive snaps across four games this season, leaving him with minimal opportunity to make an impact on the stat sheet.

The 2021 sixth-round pick hasn't played this season after suffering a major hip injury back during training camp. McMath was used sparingly in his rookie season, accumulating just two catches for eight yards across 106 offensive snaps, but given the team's lack of standout depth at wide receiver and injuries to both Treylon Burks (concussion) and C.J. Board (ribs), it's possible McMath becomes a relevant factor offensively for the first time in his career.

Titans' Racey McMath: Nearing return from IR
Tennessee designated McMath (hip) to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
McMath, a 2021 sixth-round pick, has been sidelined all season while recovering from a significant hip injury suffered during the preseason. Because he's been sidelined for several months, McMath may require more than one week of practices before being ready for game action, so he may not be formally activated from IR ahead of this Sunday's game against Jacksonville. The Titans will have 21 days to evaluate McMath in practice before deciding whether to add him to the 53-man roster or keep him on IR for the rest of the season.

Titans' Racey McMath: Not expected back in Week 7
McMath (undisclosed) is not expected to return in Week 7 versus the Colts, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.
McMath has been out since Aug. 31 while on injured reserve with an unspecified injury. Head coach Mike Vrabel said Monday that the wide receiver wouldn't be back for Week 7, but he "might be back eventually". With the vague answer from Vrabel, it doesn't seem likely that McMath is a large part of Tennessee's game plan moving forward.

McMath originally made the 53-man roster, but after being placed on injured reserve, he'll be forced to miss at least the first four games of the regular season. The 2021 sixth-round pick appeared in nine games as a rookie, catching two of six targets for eight yards, and submitted a strong training camp. It's unclear what his role will be when he returns from injury.

McMath caught his lone target for 48 yards in Thursday's 23-10 preseason loss to the Ravens.
McMath has turned heads early on in training camp with a series of strong performances. He still wasn't overly involved in the offense in the Titans' opening preseason game, though he did make the most of his lone reception on a deep pass down the field from Malik Willis. McMath managed only two receptions in his rookie season, and he is currently competing with fellow second-year wideout Dez Fitzpatrick for the fifth spot on the wide receiver depth chart in Tennessee.
