Key agreed to a three-year, $21 million contract with the Titans on Wednesday, Jordan Schultz of TheScore.com reports. Key has spent time with the Raiders, 49ers and most recently the Jaguars during his five-year NFL career. He recorded 24 tackles (13 solo), 4.5 sacks and two pass breakups across 17 games with Jacksonville in 2022. In Tennessee, Key is expected to be a key part of the team's edge-rushing group, especially after the team let go Bud Dupree earlier this month.... See More ... See Less

Raiders' Arden Key: Good to go
Key (foot) will be available for Sunday's matchup with the Broncos, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports. Although Key was limited at practice all week, it looks like the Raiders were just erring on the side of caution. Barring any setbacks, look for him to take on his usual role providing depth on the defensive line.... See More ... See Less -
Raiders' Arden Key: Won't play in Cleveland
Key (foot) is inactive Week 8 against the Browns. Key has appeared in each game this season as a reserve defensive lineman, but did not see the practice field this week and will effectively take a seat. Chris Smith and Carl Nassib would be candidates to see additional snaps in his stead.... See More ... See Less -
Raiders' Arden Key: Placed on IR
The Raiders placed Key (foot) on injured reserve Thursday. Key suffered a broken foot during Week 9's win over the Lions. He visited Dr. Robert Anderson to receive a second opinion on the injury, but it appears as though the second-year pro received no alternatives but to prematurely end his 2019 campaign. Key will turn his focus toward making a full recovery for the 2020 season. Quentin Poling has been promoted from the practice squad to occupy Key's former spot on the 53-man roster.... See More ... Raiders' Arden Key: Ready to rock Sunday
Key (knee) will play in Sunday's game against the Texans. Key missed last week's game against the Packers, but there's no doubt about his status against Sunday's AFC foe. The second-year pro only has one tackle over five games despite a consistent snap count.... See More ... See Less -
Raiders' Arden Key: Going to miss some time
Key suffered a strained patellar tendon in Sunday's victory over Chicago and is expected to miss "a couple weeks," Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Over the first five games this season, Key recorded just one tackle. The 23-year-old underwent shoulder surgery in the offseason but had fully recovered well before the start of training camp. In Key's absence, Maxx Crosby and Josh Mauro are candidates to see extra work.... See More ... See Less -
Raiders' Arden Key: Underwent offseason surgery
Key said he underwent minor offseason shoulder surgery but is now healthy, Scott Bair of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. Key hurt his shoulder in training camp last summer and played through some sort of injury during most of his rookie campaign. The 2018 third-round pick appears to be back to full strength, though, and Bair relays the defensive end reported to minicamp at 260 pounds after finishing last year at 245. There's optimism for Key in his second year after a seemingly unlucky first season in which he produced just one sack despite also having 10 quarterback hits and 30 quarterback hurries, according to Pro Football Focus. No other player with double-digit hits had less than four sacks.... See More ... See Less -
Raiders' Arden Key: Facing rising expectations
Coach Jon Gruden said Tuesday he's demanding improvements of Key for 2019, Scott Bair of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. Key played all 16 games for the Raiders last season after being selected in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft, and he posted 30 tackles and one sack over that stretch. With Oakland lacking serious competition at defensive end, Key has a straight path to a starting role in 2019 and could realistically receive an uptick in snaps.... See More ... See Less -
Raiders' Arden Key: Good to go Sunday
Key (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Chiefs. Key will suit up against the Chiefs on Sunday despite him having been limited in practice all week due to a knee injury. The rookie third-round pick is expected to slot into his usual starting role.... See More ... See Less -
Raiders' Arden Key: Returns Monday
Key (ankle) returned to practice Monday, Matt Schneidman of the Mercury News reports. Key was held out of the Raiders' preseason opener with an ankle injury, but the third-round pick has returned to practice in no time. The rookie out of LSU figures to rotate with Shilique Calhoun, Tank Carradine, Fadol Brown and Frostee Rucker at defensive end behind starter Bruce Irvin throughout the preseason.... See More ...
