Saints' J.T. Gray: Inks new three-year deal
The Saints re-signed Gray to a three-year contract worth $9.6 million Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The deal also includes $2.4 million to sign and an additional $500,000 per season, totaling out to a maximum of $11.1 million, per Rapoport. Gray has operated as New Orleans' special-teams leader since joining the team back in 2018. The 27-year-old tallied 17 tackles and 2.5 sacks across 27 defensive reps and 310 special-teams snaps in 2022.

Saints' J.T. Gray: Returns to practice in full
Gray (hamstring/back) was listed as a full participant on the Saints' injury report Thursday.
Gray has been sidelined for the Saints' last three games while dealing with a lingering hamstring injury. The 26-year-old was then limited in the first practice coming off the team's Week 14 bye, but he should be ready to go again after ramping up his activity Thursday. Gray was named an All-Pro on special teams in 2021, and he should reprise his prominent role on punts and kickoffs Sunday against Atlanta.

Saints' J.T. Gray: Won't play Week 11
Gray (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rams.
Gray will miss his first game of the season after failing to practice ahead of this Week 11 contest. The core special teamer lined up for 71 percent of the Saints' special-teams snaps during the team's loss to the Steelers last Sunday, so it's unclear when this hamstring issue first arose. Nevertheless, Gray will now look to work his way back into practice before New Orleans' next game against San Francisco on Sunday, Nov. 27.
