  • Jaguars' Foye Oluokun: Double-digit tackles in loss

    Oluokun recorded 13 tackles (eight solo) in Monday's 34-31 overtime loss to the Bengals. As per usual, Oluokun was very active in Week 13, recording double-digit tackles for the second straight week and eighth time in 12 contests this season. The linebacker is now up to 131 takedowns, including 2.5 sacks, and has compiled five pass deflections, an interception, a force fumble and two fumble recoveries so far in 2023.

  • Jaguars' Foye Oluokun: Leading tackler in Week 12

    Oluokun recorded 12 tackles (nine solo) in Sunday's 24-21 win at the Texans. Oluokun managed a double-digit tackle total for the seventh game this season in Week 12. He's incredibly on pace for his third straight season with more than 175 total tackles, making him an elite IDP option even versus the pass-happy Bengals in Week 13.

    Oluokun tallied nine total tackles (six solo), including three tackles for loss and two sacks, in Sunday's 34-3 loss to the 49ers. Oluokun fell short of double-digit tackles for the first time in four weeks during Sunday's blowout loss, and he's been able to record 10 or more tackles in six of the Jaguars' nine games thus far. The Yale product was also able to get after the quarterback in Week 10, recording his first two sacks of the season. Expect Oluokun to continue racking up tackles and making big plays for Jacksonville's defense going forward.

  • Jaguars' Foye Oluokun: Scores first career TD on pick six

    Oluokon notched 14 tackles (nine solo) and two passes defensed, including an interception that he returned for a 24-yard touchdown, in Thursday's 31-24 win over the Saints. Oluokon caught a deflected ball and turned it back the other way, beating New Orleans' offense to the end zone for his first NFL touchdown. The 28-year-old linebacker also compiled a gaudy tackle total, but that's hardly unusual for Oluokon, who led the NFL in tackles each of the previous two seasons and holds the league lead again with 81 tackles (53 solo) in 2023, albeit with the rest of the league yet to play in Week 7.

    Oluokun recorded seven tackles (five solo) in Sunday's 25-20 victory over the Bills. Oluokun's tackle total is his lowest in the season and his second straight week in single digits. He logged double digits through the first three weeks of the season. He continues to be reliable for the Jags' defense, as he has yet to miss a snap this season. He will look to get a little more involved when Jacksonville hosts the Colts in Week 6.

  • Jaguars' Foye Oluokun: Leads NFL in tackles

    Oluokun finished the 2022 regular season with 184 tackles (128 solo), two sacks, five passes defensed, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 17 games. The 27-year-old inked a three-year, $45 million contract with Jacksonville last offseason, and he finished the first year by leading the league in tackles. Oluokun was especially productive following the Jaguars' Week 11 bye, as he averaged 12.9 tackles over the final nine games of the season, playoffs included. He'll be back in Jacksonville for 2023 and should remain a highly productive IDP option coming off back-to-back seasons with over 180 tackles.

  • Jaguars' Foye Oluokun: Continues massive production

    Oluokun accumulated 14 tackles (10 solo) in Sunday's 36-22 victory over the Titans. Oluokun once again finished as the Jaguars' leading tackler Week 14, as he contributed on eight tackles of star running back Derrick Henry. The 27-year-old linebacker has now totaled 47 stops across the past three games, and he currently leads the NFL with 142 tackles, just ahead of Seahawks linebacker Jordyn Brooks. Oluokun has a very good chance to finish as the league's leading tackler for the second year in a row, and he'll face yet another run-heavy offense against Dallas in Week 15.
