Noteboom (foot) is active for Sunday's wild-card matchup against the Lions, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports. Noteboom was held out of the Rams' regular-season finale against the 49ers after he aggravated his foot injury in Week 17 against the Giants. He was able to practice in a limited capacity Friday after missing the previous two sessions. Noteboom will move back into the starting left tackle spot for Sunday's contest.... See More ... See Less

Rams' Joe Noteboom: Inactive for Week 18
Noteboom (foot) is inactive for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports. Noteboom had been listed as doubtful heading into the regular-season finale after he was unable to practice in any fashion this week while tending to a foot issue that had previously resulted in him making some appearances on the injury report in December. The injury isn't believed to be a long-term concern, but the Rams will hold Noteboom out for Week 18 while the team is already assured a road game in the wild-card round of the postseason. If Noteboom is back in action for the wild-card round, he would likely serve as the team's starting left tackle.... See More ... See Less -
Rams' Joe Noteboom: Sitting out regular-season finale
Head coach Sean McVay said Noteboom (foot) won't play in Sunday's game against the 49ers, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports. Noteboom played in the Rams' last two games after making his return from a foot issue, but he may have aggravated the injury in Los Angeles' Week 17 win over the Giants. He'll take the regular-season finale off to heal up with the hope of returning to action in the wild-card round for the Rams' playoff opener.... See More ... See Less -
Rams' Joe Noteboom: Active Thursday
Noteboom (foot) is active for Thursday's game against the Saints, Greg Beacham of the Associated Press reports. The offensive lineman was listed as a non-participant all week on the Rams' practice estimates, but he entered Thursday with a questionable tag. Noteboom has started seven of the 12 games he's played in this season, but he should return to a backup role with Rob Havenstein back from a groin injury and set to start at right tackle.... Rams' Joe Noteboom: Iffy for Thursday
Noteboom (foot) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Saints, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports. Noteboom has been listed as a DNP all week on the Rams' estimated injury report, but the six-year pro will still have a chance to suit up in Week 16. If he's unable to play, it should only impact the Rams' offensive line depth with Rob Havenstein (groin) cleared to play and set to take back over at right tackle.... See More ... See Less -
Rams' Joe Noteboom: Listed as DNP
Noteboom (foot) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's practice estimate, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports. Noteboom presumably suffered the injury in Sunday's win over the Commanders, leaving his status for Thursday's game against the Saints in question. His practice status Tuesday and Wednesday could be worth monitoring with Rob Havenstein still dealing with a groin injury that kept him out of action in Week 15.... See More ... See Less -
Rams' Joe Noteboom: Available Sunday
Noteboom (groin) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Steelers. The 28-year-old lineman missed the Rams' last two games with a groin injury, but it now seems as if he's had enough time to move past the issue. Noteboom was able to fully participate in Friday's practice, and he's expected to start at right guard this coming Sunday.... See More ... See Less -
Rams' Joe Noteboom: Questionable Sunday
Noteboom (groin) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against Arizona, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports. Noteboom has been trending in the right direction to play this coming Sunday, as he went from no participation in Wednesday and Thursdays practices to limited work Friday. If the 28-year-old were to miss his second consecutive game, Kevin Dotson would be the likely replacement at right guard.... See More ... See Less -
Rams' Joe Noteboom: Out Sunday
Noteboom (groin) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against Philadelphia, Adam Grosbard of the Rams' official site reports. Noteboom will be sidelined for Sunday's contest due to a groin issue that held him out of practice all week. Los Angeles will likely start Kevin Dotson at right guard in Noteboom's stead.... Rams' Joe Noteboom: Exits early
Noteboom (knee) was forced out of Monday's loss to the Bengals early due to a knee injury, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports. The severity of Noteboom's injury is currently unknown. His backup, Alaric Jackson (thigh), also left the game early, which left the team's offensive line thin on depth. More clarity on Noteboom's status for Week 4 will come when the team releases its initial injury report Wednesday.... See More ... See Less -
Rams' Joe Noteboom: Logs full practice
Noteboom (shoulder) was a full participant at Friday's practice, Cameron DaSilva of USA Today reports. Noteboom was limited Thursday due to a bruised shoulder, but he seems to have put that behind him. He is now in line to take on his usual role protecting Matthew Stafford's blind side at left tackle.... See More ... See Less -
Rams' Joe Noteboom: Dealing with shoulder bruise
Noteboom suffered a deep bruise in his shoulder against the 49ers on Sunday, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports. Noteboom exited Sunday's game with a shoulder injury that's now being described as a deep bruise. Head coach Sean McVay said he expects the 28-year-old to be able to play against the Bengals on Monday, but if Noteboom's not good to go, Alaric Jackson will likely start instead.... See More ... Rams' Joe Noteboom: Not on injury report
Noteboom (undisclosed) wasn't listed on the Rams' injury report Wednesday, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports. Notebook was reportedly dealing with an undisclosed injury over the past several weeks but now appears to be healthy once again. The 28-year-old is set to start at left tackle after missing all of last season with a torn Achilles.... See More ... See Less -
Rams' Joe Noteboom: Competing for starting left tackle
Noteboom (Achilles) has been competing for the starting left tackle position throughout Rams camp, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports. Noteboom missed the entirety of the 2022 season with an Achilles injury but has since had the offseason to get past the issue. The veteran lineman signed a $40 million contract extension in 2022 that he's reworked to allow the Rams to save $9 million in cap space this year. He'll be competing with Alaric Jackson, who filled in for Noteboom the first half of last year before getting hurt himself. The Rams have been splitting reps evenly so far, but they'll soon have to decide between the guy they paid and the younger player ahead of the coming season.... See More ... See Less -
Rams' Joe Noteboom: Slowly recovering
Noteboom (Achilles) has been limited throughout Los Angeles' OTAs, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports. Head coach Sean McVay told reporters how "awesome" it will be to have the 2022 starting left tackle back fully participating once again, but still didn't give a timetable for his return. Noteboom has played five years for the Rams and appeared in 53 games over that time period. Barring any setbacks, expect the veteran to compete for a starting spot on LA's offensive line once he's healthy.... See More ... See Less
