  • Rams' Tyler Higbee: Sets multiple career highs in 2022

Higbee caught four of seven targets for 33 yards in Sunday's 19-16 overtime loss to Seattle. Higbee finishes the 2022 season with career highs in targets (108), catches (72) and receiving yards (620) but not touchdowns (three). The tight end turned 30 on New Years Day, and he's under contract with the Rams through 2023.

  • Rams' Tyler Higbee: TEs to Start

Higbee was bad in Week 17 against the Chargers when he had three catches for 11 yards on four targets, but he should rebound this week against Seattle. The Seahawks are No. 1 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends, and three tight ends in a row have scored at least 14 PPR points against Seattle. Higbee only had two catches for 14 yards on two targets against the Seahawks in Week 13, but he should do better in the rematch and has top-10 upside in all Fantasy leagues.

  • Rams' Tyler Higbee: Three catches in Week 17 loss

Higbee (elbow) brought in three of four targets for 11 yards in the Rams' 31-10 loss to the Chargers on Sunday. Higbee tied Van Jefferson for the team lead in receptions, but as his final line indicates, that didn't amount to much on a day when Baker Mayfield netted only 111 passing yards. The veteran tight end didn't come close to matching his standout 9-94-2 line on 11 targets Christmas Day versus the Broncos that may have propelled some fantasy managers into their leagues' title games, but he'll have a chance to redeem himself in the Week 18 finale on the road versus a Seahawks defense that's given up solid production to tight ends this season.

  • Rams' Tyler Higbee: Suits up Sunday

Higbee (elbow) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Chargers, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports. Higbee was deemed questionable for the contest after logging limited practices Thursday and Friday, but the Rams' top tight end will give it a go versus the Chargers. Assuming no in-game setbacks, Higbee will look to build off the momentum he's built over his last two outings while working with signal-caller Baker Mayfield en route to hauling in 13 of his 16 targets for 121 yards and three touchdowns in that span.

  • Rams' Tyler Higbee: TEs to Start

Higbee has been fantastic with Baker Mayfield, scoring 42 PPR points in his past two games with 13 catches for 121 yards and three touchdowns on 16 targets. He's become a must-start Fantasy tight end in all leagues heading into Week 17 against the Chargers. It's not an easy matchup, but Higbee is worth buying into right now because he's hot and getting plenty of attention from his quarterback.

  • Rams' Tyler Higbee: In line to play Sunday

Higbee (elbow) is expected to play Sunday against the Chargers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Coach Sean McVay told Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic as much Friday, so despite heading into the weekend as questionable for Week 17 action, Higbee will gut out an elbow injury that emerged Thursday. Higbee is on a bit of a hot streak the last two games, hauling in 13 of 16 targets for 121 yards and three touchdowns while working with new starting quarterback Baker Mayfield.

  • Rams' Tyler Higbee: Questionable for Sunday

Coach Sean McVay said Friday that Higbee (elbow) will be listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers, Gilbert Manzano of The Orange County Register reports. On the Rams' injury report Wednesday, Higbee was listed as a resting player, but after the day off, he returned as a limited participant Thursday due to an elbow issue. McVay also told Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic that Higbee underwent an MRI that returned positive results, but the tight end still is entering the weekend with a designation. McVay does think Higbee will suit up Sunday, which won't be confirmed until about 90 minutes before a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Rams' Tyler Higbee: Monster performance in win

Higbee produced nine receptions on 11 targets for 94 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 51-14 win over the Broncos. Higbee followed up his first touchdown of the season last week with a two-score effort in Week 16. The veteran tight end has quickly developed a strong rapport with new starting quarterback Baker Mayfield, combining for 121 yards and three scores in the two games the latter has started. With the Rams lacking playmakers on the outside, Higbee should continue to be a focal point of the passing attack against the Chargers on Sunday.

  • Rams' Tyler Higbee: TEs to Sit

Higbee scored his first touchdown this season in Week 15 against the Packers in the first start with Baker Mayfield, which is encouraging, but I'm not ready to trust him yet in the majority of leagues in Week 16 against Denver. Despite the touchdown, Higbee only caught four passes for 27 yards on five targets, and he's been at five targets or less in four games in a row. The Broncos also have not allowed a tight end to score a touchdown since Week 8, a span of six games, which includes matchups with Mark Andrews and Travis Kelce. That duo combined for just eight catches for 124 yards and no touchdowns on 16 targets.

  • Rams' Tyler Higbee: Contrarian DFS Play (TE Preview)

Higbee scored his first touchdown in Week 15 and actually led the Rams in target share in his first game with Baker Mayfield. A strong finish to the season would be nothing new for Higbee, who closed out 2019 as the best tight end in Fantasy and scored 45.5 PPR Fantasy points in his final three games of 2021.

  • Rams' Tyler Higbee: Finds end zone in loss

Higbee secured four of five targets for 27 yards and a touchdown in the Rams' 24-12 loss to the Packers on Monday night. Higbee closed out the scoring on the night with an eight-yard touchdown grab with 22 seconds remaining in the third quarter. The veteran tight end's catch and target totals both led the Rams during the loss, and his trip to the end zone was his first of the season. Higbee will aim to carry over his chemistry with new quarterback Baker Mayfield and record a fourth straight game with multiple receptions when the Rams host the Broncos in a Week 16 matchup on Christmas Day.

  • Rams' Tyler Higbee: TEs to Sit

Higbee still hasn't scored a touchdown this season, and he had two catches for 11 yards on three targets against the Raiders in Baker Mayfield's debut in Week 14. There's no reason to start Higbee in Week 15 at Green Bay even though the Packers have allowed three tight ends to score at least 13 PPR points in their past four games. Unless things dramatically change for Higbee this week, he'll once again post a mediocre stat line.

  • Rams' Tyler Higbee: TEs to Sit

Higbee has a great matchup in Week 14 against the Raiders, who are No. 6 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. But I can't trust Higbee given his recent level of play. He has combined for 11 PPR points in his past three games since Matthew Stafford (neck) was injured. He still hasn't scored a touchdown this year, and he was held to two catches for 14 yards on five targets against the Seahawks in Week 13, which was also a great matchup. I would expect a similar stat line for Higbee again this week on Thursday night.

  • Rams' Tyler Higbee: Fails to bounce back

Higbee secured two of five targets for 14 yards during Sunday's 27-23 loss to the Seahawks. Aside from two short gains during the Rams' final scoring drive, Higbee's biggest contribution was securing a John Wolford fumble, which allowed Matt Gay to boot a 54-yard field goal to make it a one-point game at the half. The Seahawks presented Higbee with a chance to return to prominence after the veteran tight end put up a zero on the stat sheet in Week 12 against Kansas City, but instead, the Rams struggled to get anything going in the air at all. It'll be hard for fantasy managers to rely on Higbee, even at such a thin fantasy position, with a Week 14 matchup against the Raiders ahead Thursday.

  • Rams' Tyler Higbee: Contrarian DFS Play

No one is going to play Higbee this week, and for good reason: He did not see a target last week. But we've seen his role ebb and flow throughout the season and he faces the Seahawks this week. They've allowed double-digit Fantasy points to six tight ends in their past seven games and we just saw a nice bounce-back performance from Foster Moreau against them.

  • Rams' Tyler Higbee: Sleepers (Start/Sit)

I'm nervous to trust Higbee since he didn't have a target in Week 12 against the Chiefs, but hopefully that was more about the knee injury he was dealing with and less about Bryce Perkins potentially avoiding him. If healthy, Higbee should enjoy this matchup with the Seahawks, who are No. 2 in most Fantasy points allowed to tight ends. Higbee has also scored at least nine PPR points in three of his past five meetings with Seattle, and he should get a lot of attention this week given the limited state of the Rams receiving corps with Cooper Kupp (ankle) and Allen Robinson (foot) out.

  • Rams' Tyler Higbee: Not targeted in Week 12

Higbee (knee) wasn't targeted in Sunday's 26-10 loss to the Chiefs. Higbee played a season-low 59 percent of offensive snaps while playing through a knee injury after topping 90 percent in six of the previous 10 games. The lingering effects of the injury coupled with Bryce Perkins' lack of passing production (100 yards) led to a quiet afternoon for Higbee. With Matthew Stafford (concussion/neck) likely to remain sidelined Week 13 against the Seahawks, Higbee will be tough to trust despite facing a Seattle defense that has been gashed by tight ends throughout the year.

  • Rams' Tyler Higbee: Suiting up in Week 12

Higbee (knee) is active for Sunday's game in Kansas City, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports. A knee injury kept Higbee on the sideline at Wednesday's practice, but he capped the week with back-to-back limited sessions and was given a questionable designation ahead of Week 12 action. Now that he's confirmed as available, he'll be one of the top pass catchers for Sunday's starting quarterback Bryce Perkins, who is filling in for Matthew Stafford (concussion protocol/neck) over fellow reserve John Wolford (neck). Helping Higbee's case for targets is the fact Cooper Kupp (ankle) is on IR and Allen Robinson (ankle) is inactive, meaning his main competitors for reps are Van Jefferson and Ben Skowronek.

  • Rams' Tyler Higbee: Gets questionable tag for Week 12

Rams head coach Sean McVay said Higbee (knee) will be listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports. The Rams appear content to wait and see how Higbee progresses from the knee injury through the weekend before a formal decision on his status is made when the team releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. Higbee appeared on the Rams' injury report with the knee issue after he recorded four receptions for 45 yards on eight targets in last Sunday's loss to the Saints. He didn't practice Wednesday and was then estimated as a limited participant on Thursday's report, but it's unclear if he's healthy enough to fill his usual role as the Rams' top tight end. Even if Higbee is good to go this weekend, he won't have the luxury of working with Matthew Stafford (concussion/neck), who has already been ruled out for Sunday's contest. The Rams are likely to turn to third-stringer Bryce Perkins to direct their offense, after he took the majority of the first-team reps in practice this week while Stafford was sidelined and while No. 2 quarterback John Wolford (neck) was limited.

  • Rams' Tyler Higbee: Increases activity Thursday

Higbee (knee) was listed as limited on Thursday's estimated injury report, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports. One day removed from sitting out due to a knee issue, Higbee got in some work Thursday in what was termed a jog-through. Friday's practice report could clear up his status for Sunday's game in Kansas City entirely, but if not a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff won't leave many viable tight ends to turn to. Currently, Brycen Hopkins is the only other player at the position on the Rams' active roster.
