Dallas Cowboys safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix has delivered plenty of big hits over the years. However, he wasn't exactly up to the challenge when he encountered a bear and its cub recently. Clinton-Dix shared video of the wild encounter on his Instagram account this week.

It appeared that Clinton-Dix was riding a scooter somewhere on his property when he encountered the bear and its cub. Clinton-Dix was unharmed and the video of the encounter was timestamped, showing that it occurred on Monday evening.

Clinton-Dix immediately ditched the scooter he was riding and ran from the bears, while the animals were frightened and ran in the opposite direction. The bears seemed to be more frightened by the scooter that was tossed in their direction than the Cowboys' safety was at the presence of the two animals.

It's hard to say that many people wouldn't have reacted the exact same way if they encountered a bear on their property. It's not exactly something citizens see on a daily basis.

As coincidence would have it, Clinton-Dix played for the Chicago Bears last season after spending the first five years of his career with the Green Bay Packers. The former first round pick signed a one-year, $4 million contract with the Cowboys, which reunites him with former Packers head coach Mike McCarthy.
