Each night, Eye on Basketball brings you what you need to know about the games of the NBA. From great performances to terrible clock management the report card evaluates and eviscerates the good, the bad, and the ugly from the night that was.

Jeremy Lin and James Harden The Houston Rockets' backcourt has needed time to get used to each other, but against the New York Knicks Monday night they looked pretty comfortable as a duo. Jeremy Lin had 22 points (on 15 shots) and eight assists while James Harden had 28 points (on 18 shots) and 10 rebounds. They had nearly half of the Rockets' 109 points and just dominated throughout the course of this blowout victory at Madison Square Garden.
Kevin Love Kevin Love finally had a good game since his infamous Yahoo article in which he ripped Wolves' management at an inopportune time. Even though the Wolves lost, Love had 23 points and 15 rebounds, making 10 of his 20 shots. He started off hot, much like the Wolves, but faded in the second half and allowed Glen Davis to leak out for some quick scores. Prior to this game, Love had made just 7-of-35 shots in the two games since the controversial article.
Zach Randolph Z-Bo didn't have a dominant game, even though he managed to put a 10-point, 15-rebound performance together against the Chicago Bulls. Randolph made just 4-of-14 from the field and only got to the free throw line for two attempts. However, he kept possessions alive for the Grizzlies in their win over the Bulls and helped Memphis dominate Chicago 51-39 on the boards.
Sacramento Kings The Sacramento Kings jumped out to a big 19-point lead in the first half behind 32 bench points and 12 of this coming from Jimmer Fredette. Unfortunately for the Kings, there are two halves to an NBA game. They were outscored 31-14 in the third quarter, lost control of the game and were never able to regain the upper hand. Phoenix pulled out a 101-90 victory.
Minnesota Timberwolves' 2nd half The Wolves took a 61-49 lead into the half, thanks to dominant scoring inside and really incredible execution in the halfcourt offense. The second half saw a much different and worse Minnesota squad. The Wolves had just 32 second half points total and allowed the Orlando Magic to run all over them at times. They didn't play offense, they didn't play defense, and then didn't win a road game they should have won.
