Edwards (hip) is doubtful for Thursday's game versus the Jazz.

Timberwolves' Troy Brown: Season high in win
Brown posted 17 points (5-6 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 4-6 FT) and three rebounds over 21 minutes in a 106-103 win over the Thunder on Tuesday.
Tuesday's contest marked Brown's second outing logging over 20 minutes, and he did not disappoint, supplying a remarkably efficient scoring performance. While Brown's increased usage stemmed from a hip injury to Anthony Edwards that forced him out of the game in the third quarter and the ongoing absence of Jaden McDaniels (ankle), Brown certainly took advantage of the opportunity and could continue to see increased playing time moving forward.

Timberwolves' Luka Garza: Heads back to NBA
Garza was transferred from the G League's Iowa Wolves to the NBA's Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday.
Garza was sent to Iowa on Wednesday morning to practice with the G League club, but he'll rejoin the Timberwolves a few hours later. He's been on the fringes of the rotation for the parent club this year and shouldn't see significant minutes moving forward.

Minnesota transferred Nix to the NBA club from the G League's Iowa Wolves on Wednesday.
Nix, Luka Garza, Josh Minott and Wendell Moore were all sent to the G League earlier Wednesday to presumably practice but have since returned to the NBA club. Nix has appeared in four NBA games this season but has yet to play more than three minutes in any contest.

Gobert finished Tuesday's 106-103 victory over Oklahoma City with 17 points (6-10 FG, 5-6 FT), 16 rebounds, four blocks and one steal over 36 minutes.
Gobert continues to deliver strong performances night in and night out for the Timberwolves, and this was his fourth double-double across his last six appearances. While he's never going to have a go-to role on offense, Gobert has also been consistent on that front, scoring in double figures in each of those six aforementioned contests as well. Gobert is averaging 12.0 points and 11.1 rebounds per game in November.

Timberwolves' Karl-Anthony Towns: Poor shooting display in win
Towns logged 13 points (2-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 8-8 FT), 10 rebounds and three assists in 32 minutes during Tuesday's 106-103 win over the Thunder.
The Timberwolves came away with the win against Oklahoma City, but Towns had a woeful shooting display, and his eight trips to the charity stripe played a crucial role in his final stat line. However, this was nothing more than an off night for the star big man, and he needs to bounce back quickly, as he's expected to hold a prominent role on offense against the Jazz on Thursday, especially if Anthony Edwards (hip) can't play.

Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Doesn't return Tuesday
Edwards didn't return to Tuesday's 106-103 win over the Thunder after exiting in the third quarter with a right hip contusion. He finished with 21 points (7-16 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one block over 28 minutes.
Though Edwards was able to hit the 20-point mark for the sixth consecutive game, fantasy managers are likely more concerned about his availability moving forward after he landed hard on his hip during a dunk attempt. While the diagnosis of a bruised hip doesn't sound significant, Edwards could be subject to further testing as the Timberwolves look to ensure that the contusion is the extent of his injury. He can be viewed as day-to-day heading into Thursday's game against the Jazz.

Edwards has scored at least 23 points in five consecutive appearances, and his role as Minnesota's go-to player on offense is pretty much set in stone -- a remarkable achievement since he shares the court with another dominant player on offense in Karl-Anthony Towns. Edwards has been consistently productive in other categories as well, and he's averaging 27.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.2 steals per game during the aforementioned scoring streak.

Reid provided 12 points (4-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds and one steal across 22 minutes during Sunday's 119-97 victory over the Grizzlies.
Reid has a complicated path toward earning more regular playing time given that Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert are playing exceptionally well together as the starting frontcourt. However, Reid is making the most of his minutes, and he can be a decent option in fantasy despite his steady bench role. He has scored in double digits in six of his last eight outings, averaging 10.6 points and 3.4 rebounds while logging just 19.0 minutes per game in that span.
