Carrier (upper body) was transferred to long-term injured reserve Saturday, per CapFriendly.
This is a move to help the Golden Knights' cap situation. Carrier has already missed over two months with the injury, which required surgery in January. He'll be eligible to return whenever he's deemed healthy, as long as the Golden Knights can generate enough cap space to activate him.
