McTavish (undisclosed) is expected to play Sunday in exhibition action against Los Angeles, Lisa Dillman of The Orange County Register reports.
McTavish had been dealing with an undisclosed injury, but it wasn't expected to keep him on the shelf for long. He provided two goals and one assist in nine NHL outings last season and is expected to become a regular for the Ducks this year.
