Los Angeles placed a contract tender on Dicker on Friday.

Dicker was an exclusive-rights free agent, and he converted 52 of 55 field-goal tries in his first two pro seasons, so it's no surprise to see the Chargers move to re-up him. Last season, Dicker was good on 31 of his 33 field-goal tries, plus all 35 of his extra-point attempts. His accuracy alone is enough to make Dicker a valuable kicker for fantasy purposes, but his volume could well also increase in 2024 -- Brandon Staley is no longer around to champion aggressive fourth-down calls, and new head coach Jim Harbaugh may potentially favor more consistently racking up points via the kicking game.

Fairbairn agreed Wednesday with Houston on a three-year contract, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

According to Wilson, Fairbairn's deal is expected to be worth $5.3 million annually, which would place him fourth in the league among all kickers. The 30-year-old has spent his entire professional career with the Texans, converting 87.1 percent of field-goal attempts and 92.4 percent of extra-point tries. Fairbairn has attempted exactly six field goals of 50-plus yards in six consecutive seasons, making at least three of those tries each season and 72.5 percent of them for his career. Fairbairn finished third among kickers in fantasy points per game in 2023, though he missed five games in November and December with a quadricep injury.

Badgley is re-signing with the Lions on a one-year contract, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Badgley spent much of 2023 on Detroit's practice squad before eventually replacing a struggling Riley Patterson for the final four games of the regular season and the playoffs. Badgley converted each of his seven field-goal attempts and 24 of 26 PATs after taking over, but he'll likely have to compete with Patterson or another kicker to win the job in 2024.

Bass made 24 out of 29 field-goal attempts and 49 of 50 extra-point tries in 17 regular-season games in 2023.

It's the postseason that really leaves a pimple on Bass's season, as he made just two of five field-goal attempts over two playoff games, including a 44-yarder that would have tied the divisional-round loss to the Chiefs with 1:43 left to play. The 121 points for Bass in the regular season represented his worst total in four NFL campaigns and put him in the 15th spot among all kickers, disappointing considering the Bills were sixth in the NFL in points scored.

Dicker converted 31 of his 33 field-goal attempts and all 35 of his extra-point attempts over 17 games for the Chargers during the regular season.

After years of poor kicking production, the Chargers appear to have finally struck gold in the form of Dicker, who has missed just three of his field-goal attempts dating back to his 2022 rookie season. He seemed to quell any concerns about long-distance kicks, as the 23-year-old made seven from 50-plus yards out after failing to make his lone attempt from that range in 2022. The introduction of head coach Jim Harbaugh could add value to Dicker's fantasy prospects next season, considering the aggressive fourth-down tendencies that Brandon Staley displayed during his tenure will likely be tossed to the wayside in favor of a more conventional approach.

Badgley converted four of four field-goal attempts and 13 of 15 PATs over four games in 2023.

Once Detroit lost patience with Riley Patterson after missing two PATs in three games, Badgley was brought in with mixed results. Not only did he miss two PATs in his four regular-season games, the strong-legged kicker only converted one field goal from over 40 yards over this stretch with just one more from at least this range over three postseason games. Now set to become an unrestricted free agent, Badgley is not locked in as Detroit's starting kicker entering the 2024 campaign.

Patterson signed a reserve/future contract with the Jaguars on Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Brandon McManus, the Jaguars' kicker in 2023, is slated to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason. If McManus ultimately leaves for another opportunity, Patterson would become the team's only player at the position. The 24-year-old converted 16 of 18 field-goal attempts across 15 games this season between the Lions (13) and Browns (two), while also nailing 35 of 37 extra points.

Hopkins (hamstring) finished the season with 123 points over 15 games. He was successful on 33 of 36 field-goal attempts and 24 of 26 extra-point kicks.

Hopkins was a savior to Cleveland's kicking troubles over the previous two seasons and led the NFL in field-goals made at the time of his injury. The hamstring remains a concern entering the offseason. He has one year left on his contract and should return to the Browns if he's ready to compete by training camp.

Prater connected on 28 of 33 field-goal attempts and 22 of 23 point-after tries in 17 regular-season games in 2023.

Being attached to Arizona's 24th-ranked scoring offense in the NFL this season didn't afford Prater a ton of opportunities, as evidenced by ranking 25th in points per game (6.2) among all kickers to make at least 15 appearances. That said, he struck true on a career-high nine FGAs from 50-plus yards, giving him 93 such makes in his 17 years as a pro. Considering he has an 80-percent mark on field-goal accuracy in 10 of the last 11 campaigns, Prater has the consistency to regain fantasy relevance next season if the Cardinals are able to add more firepower on offense in the coming months.

Myers connected on 35 of 42 field-goal attempts and all 33 of his extra-point tries across 17 games during the 2023 regular season.

Myers struggled from distance this past season, hitting just four of eight tries from beyond 50 yards. He was dependable from closer in, hitting 31 of 34 tries (91 percent) from within 50 yards, and he was just one of eight kickers to connect on every extra-point attempt. He'll be 33 years old by the beginning of the 2024 season, and he's expected to stay with the Seahawks for at least one more campaign.
