Eaton cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Omaha on Wednesday.
He's no longer on the Royals' 40-man roster but will remain in the organization. Eaton went just 4-for-53 (.075 average) with two walks and 21 strikeouts in the majors during 2023.
