The Royals placed Frazier on the bereavement list Tuesday.
Frazier will be away from the team as he tends to personal matters. Nick Loftin should continue to see plenty of action at second base while Garrett Hampson should mix in at the keystone. First baseman Nick Pratto was called up in a corresponding move.
