Cameron cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Norfolk on Friday.
Cameron was claimed off waivers by the Orioles in November but won't retain his spot on the 40-man roster. The 25-year-old appeared in 25 games for Detroit last season but spent most of the campaign at the Triple-A level, where he had a .240/.312/.392 slash line in 98 contests.
