Burke was traded from the Kings to the Predators on Monday in exchange for Frederic Allard. The 25-year-old Burke is in his fourth full minor-league campaign. Burke signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Kings on Sunday, Jon Rosen of Fox Sports West reports. Burke spent the entirety of the 2020-21 season in the minors, picking up 14 points in 28 appearances with AHL Tucson. Kings' Brayden Burke: Heads to Hollywood in trade
Burke was traded to the Kings from the Coyotes on Saturday. Burke and Tyler Steenbergen head further west in exchange for Bokondji Imama and Cole Hults. Burke recorded 14 points (one goal, 13 assists) in 28 games last season for Tucson of the AHL. Over three seasons there, he delivered 99 points (35 goals, 64 assists) in 146 games.... See More ... Coyotes' Brayden Burke: Joining team for postseason
Burke is traveling to Arizona to link up with the team for Phase 2 training sessions. While the fine details are still being worked out, NHL clubs are expected to have expanded rosters for the 24-team playoff and it appears Burke has secured one of those spots for the Yotes. In 51 outings for AHL Tucson this season, the winger notched 21 goals and 31 helpers, both career highs. While he's unlikely to get into any actual games, the 23-year-old's involvement could improve his chances of securing a spot on the 23-man roster ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.... See More ... Coyotes' Brayden Burke: Makes room for Hall
The Coyotes reassigned Burke to AHL Tucson on Monday. With the recent acquisition of Taylor Hall from New Jersey, the Coyotes made room for him on the roster by dispatching Burke to the AHL.
