Blue Line Station@BlueLineStation1D agoThe winner of this Canes-Rangers series probably wins the cup. These are the two best teams in the NHL. This is the toughest hurdle either team will face.

Joe Fortunato@JoeFortunatoBSB3D agoAll that said, Rangers of old would have let this series drag to six or seven games. They didn’t. They put Washington down when they had their foot on their neck and that’s what great teams do. Rest up, reset, and hope Islanders Canes goes deeper.

Blue Line Station@BlueLineStation3D agoThat was NOT a convincing sweep. New York has a lot to clean up. Washington shouldn’t have been a playoff team and despite winning four straight, the Rangers made hard work of it. Against Carolina, assuming it is Carolina, they will be made to pay. Have to clean this up.

Blue Line Station@BlueLineStation3D agoSecond round awaits. Rangers play the winners of Carolina and the Isles. That series is going back to Raleigh for game five on Tuesday. A win for Carolina would set up the series we’ve all been waiting for.
