Kings' Andrei Kuzmenko: Acquired by Los Angeles
Kuzmenko and a 2025 seventh-round selection were acquired by Los Angeles from Philadelphia on Friday in exchange for a 2027 third-round pick, per Chris Johnston of The Athletic.
Kuzmenko has six goals and 20 points in 44 outings between Calgary and Philadelphia in 2024-25. He was averaging 14:49 of ice time with the Flames and would sometimes be a healthy scratch, but he saw his playing time jump to 17:08 per game with the Flyers. However, Los Angeles is likely to utilize Kuzmenko in a fashion that's more similar to what he saw in Calgary than Philadelphia, so this move might hurt the 29-year-old's fantasy value.

Flyers' Andrei Kuzmenko: Two points in loss to Calgary
Kuzmenko produced a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Flames.
The 29-year-old winger did his best to put together a revenge game against the team that shipped him east in late January, scoring a goal in the first period before helping to set up Sean Couturier in the third, but his teammates didn't cooperate. Kuzmenko has looked good in his new jersey, picking up two goals and five points in his first six contests for Philadelphia while seeing a regular shift on the first power-play unit.

Flyers' Andrei Kuzmenko: Six points in last five games
Kuzmenko scored a goal in a 6-3 win over the Oilers on Saturday.
Kuzmenko's goal was his first in orange and black in his second game since being acquired in a trade with the Flames on Jan. 30. He redirected a pass behind Stuart Skinner on a late third-period power play that put Philadelphia up 5-3. Kuzmenko could have some sneaky fantasy value for the remainder of the campaign. He has put up six points (three goals, three assists) and 12 shots in his last five games. He may not be the 74-point producer he was in 2022-23, but Kuzmenko still has excellent offensive instincts.

Flyers' Andrei Kuzmenko: Earns assist in team debut
Kuzmenko logged an assist in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Penguins.
Kuzmenko saw 18:53 of ice time in his Flyers debut and may be in line for a larger role with his new team than he was with the Flames. The 29-year-old winger has 16 points, 40 shots on net and a minus-8 rating over 38 appearances this season. If Kuzmenko sees top-six minutes regularly and doesn't clash with head coach John Tortorella too much, he could be an interesting offense-only addition in fantasy for the remainder of the season.

Flyers' Andrei Kuzmenko: Ready to rock
Kuzmenko (not injury related) is in Philadelphia and is slated to join the lineup versus Pittsburgh on Saturday.
Kuzmenko was dealt to Philadelphia from Calgary on Jan. 30 and had visa issues, as well as a canceled flight from Toronto due to snow Thursday. The 29-year-old had four goals, 11 assists and 39 shots on goal across 37 appearances for the Flames prior to the trade. Look for Jacob Gaucher to return to AHL Lehigh Valley, while Rodrigo Abols could also be sent down to the minors.

Flyers' Andrei Kuzmenko: Remains out for Thursday's game
Kuzmenko (not injury related) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against Washington, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Kuzmenko was traded to the Flyers from the Flames last week, but he's been dealing with visa issues in recent days. Head coach John Tortorella said Thursday that Kuzmenko's paperwork is done, but the 29-year-old's flight from Toronto was canceled due to weather. Tortorella is optimistic that Kuzmenko will be available for Saturday's game against the Penguins.

Flyers' Andrei Kuzmenko: Dealing with visa issues
Kuzmenko (not injury related) won't be an option for Sunday's matchup versus Colorado, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Kuzmenko is not on the Flyers' roster yet due to visa issues. Philadelphia acquired the 28-year-old forward from Calgary on Thursday along with Jakob Pelletier as part of a four-player trade involving Joel Farabee and Morgan Frost. Pelletier is on the Flyers' roster, per the NHL media site. Kuzmenko has four goals, 15 points and 39 shots on net through 37 appearances this season.

Flyers' Andrei Kuzmenko: Involved in four-player trade
Kuzmenko was traded to the Flyers from the Flames on Thursday, along with Jakob Pelletier, a 2025 second-round pick and a 2028 seventh-round pick, in exchange for Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee, Pierre LeBrun of TSN reports.
Kuzmenko is the oldest player in the deal at 28 years old. His Flames tenure lasted about a year -- he was dealt from Vancouver to Calgary on Jan. 31, 2024 -- and he earned 40 points over 66 games in the Flaming C. The likelihood that he comes anywhere near his first NHL campaign, a 39-goal, 74-point effort in 2022-23, is slim, especially in a defense-first system like Philadelphia's. Kuzmenko's noted lack of back-checking could also cause a rift with head coach John Tortorella. Still, Kuzmenko may make rookie phenom Matvei Michkov more comfortable -- the two played together with SKA St. Petersburg of the KHL in 2021-22 before Kuzmenko made the jump to the NHL. They may even play on the same line together with the Flyers, which would be a welcome change for Kuzmenko, who has often been stuck in a bottom-six spot with the Flames this year when he's not in the press box.

Flames' Andrei Kuzmenko: Contributes power-play helper
Kuzmenko notched a power-play assist and went minus-2 in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Capitals.
Kuzmenko has made the most of this stint in the lineup, racking up five points, including three on the power play, over his last five games. He had been scratched for three contests prior to this productive stretch, and the demotion of Rory Kerins on Monday bodes well for Kuzmenko getting a longer look in the lineup. For the season, Kuzmenko has four goals, 11 helpers, six power-play points, 39 shots on net and a minus-7 rating over 37 appearances.

Flames' Andrei Kuzmenko: Three points in Minnesota
Kuzmenko scored two goals, one on the power play and the other the game-winner, and added an even-strength assist in Saturday's 5-4 victory over the Wild.
The 28-year-old winger opened the scoring early in the first period by tipping home a Nazem Kadri shot-pass, and Kuzmenko also potted Calgary's final tally late in the third by beating Marc-Andre Fleury to the far post on a wraparound. It's Kuzmenko's first multi-point performance since Oct. 26, and he may be regaining his form after sustaining a lower-body injury in mid-December. On the season, he's managed just four goals and 14 points in 35 appearances.

Flames' Andrei Kuzmenko: Strikes on power play in win
Kuzmenko scored a power-play goal in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Jets.
Kuzmenko had been scratched for the previous three games and entered Saturday stuck in a six-game point drought. He's struggled to bounce back after a lower-body injury cost him time in December, though he wasn't exactly lighting up the scoresheet before that. The 28-year-old winger has been limited to 11 points, 32 shots on net and a minus-6 rating through 33 appearances. For now, Kuzmenko is in competition with Walker Duehr for the last spot in the lineup.

Kuzmenko (lower body) won't play in Thursday's game against the Senators, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.

Flames' Andrei Kuzmenko: Set to miss out against Bruins
Kuzmenko (lower body) is not expected to be in the lineup versus Boston on Tuesday, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
Kuzmenko will be unavailable for his second consecutive contest due to his lower-body injury. Even once given the green light, the 28-year-old winger is far from a lock to crack the lineup considering he is mired in a 24-game goal drought during which he's managed only 24 shots.

Flames' Andrei Kuzmenko: Unavailable Saturday
Kuzmenko (lower body) won't play Saturday against the Panthers, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
Kuzmenko is day-to-day, per Steinberg. The 28-year-old forward has a goal and 10 points in 28 outings in 2024-25. Walker Duehr figures to slot into a fourth-line role in Kuzmenko's absence.

Flames' Andrei Kuzmenko: Draws into lineup, grabs apple
Kuzmenko notched an assist in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Stars.
Kuzmenko had been scratched in the previous two games, but he checked back in with Ryan Lomberg (personal) away from the team. The helper was Kuzmenko's first point since Nov. 11 -- he was originally credited with an assist Nov. 25, but it was later taken away. The winger now has 10 points, 30 shots on net and a minus-5 rating through 26 outings, and it doesn't look like his place in the lineup is safe. Look for Kuzmenko to compete with Jakob Pelletier and Walker Duehr for playing time when the Flames have their full complement of forwards.

Flames' Andrei Kuzmenko: Supplies helper in loss
Kuzmenko notched an assist and two PIM in Monday's 4-3 loss to the Senators.
The helper snapped a five-game point drought for Kuzmenko. The winger has been wildly inconsistent, going 18 games without a goal while picking up just five assists during that ongoing slump. The 28-year-old has moved all over the lineup but can't seem to get much going -- he's yet to record more than two shots on net in a game and has been held without a shot altogether six times after Monday's outing. He's at 10 points, 26 shots on net, eight PIM and a minus-1 rating over 22 appearances, but five of those points, including his lone goal, came over the first four games of 2024-25.

Flames' Andrei Kuzmenko: Bouncing back from fourth line
Kuzmenko started Sunday's loss to the Oilers on the fourth line but eventually took shifts on the top line, Wes Gilbertson of the Calgary Sun reports.
Kuzmenko, who posted seven points in the first eight games, had a strong start to the season, but he hit the skids last week and was benched for the final 27 minutes of last Friday's 3-0 loss to the Devils. In addition to opening on the fourth line Sunday, he was temporarily removed from the top power-play unit. However, Kuzmenko was one of the team's best forwards against Edmonton and was elevated to the top line alongside Nazem Kadri and Martin Pospisil midway through the second period. Calgary head coach Ryan Huska was pleased with Kuzmenko's effort Sunday and could reestablish the 28-year-old forward on the top line to start Tuesday's road game in Montreal.
