Panthers' Matthew Tkachuk: Overtime hero again
Tkachuk scored a power-play goal on four shots, added three hits, blocked two shots and logged two PIM in Saturday's 2-1 overtime win over the Hurricanes in Game 2.
Tkachuk made sure Saturday's contest ended much faster than Thursday's quadruple-overtime marathon. He tallied just 1:51 into overtime in Game 2, notching his second game-winning tally in a row. The 25-year-old's clutch performances have helped the Panthers to a 2-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference Finals before they've played on home ice this round. He has seven tallies, 18 points (six on the power play), 42 shots on net, 48 hits, 22 PIM and a plus-12 rating in 14 playoff outings.

Panthers' Matthew Tkachuk: Leads charge in wild Game 6 win
Tkachuk scored two goals, one on the power play, and added a power-play assist in Friday's 7-5 win over the Bruins during Game 6 of the Panthers' first-round series.
Florida has improbably taken the Presidents' Trophy winners to the brink, and Tkachuk has been a huge reason why, reeling off three straight multi-point performances. The 25-year-old has five goals and 10 points through six games in the series, but he'll likely need to come up big one more time Sunday in Boston if the Panthers are going to pull off one of the biggest playoff upsets of the modern era.

Panthers' Matthew Tkachuk: Pots OT winner in Game 5
Tkachuk scored the game-winning goal in overtime to go with a power-play assist in Wednesday's 4-3 Game 5 win over the Bruins.
Tkachuk found himself all alone in front after Linus Ullmark turned the puck over behind the net, and the winger calmly lifted the puck on the backhand over the sprawling Ullmark to extend the series. Prior to scoring in overtime, Tkachuk assisted on Sam Reinhart's go-ahead, power-play goal in the third period. Tkachuk led the Panthers with 109 points in the regular season, so it's no surprise that he's also been the team's best player in the playoffs, with three goals and four assists through five games.

Panthers' Matthew Tkachuk: Goes down swinging in Game 4
Tkachuk picked up an even-strength goal and a power-play assist Sunday before receiving a game misconduct late in the third period of a 6-2 loss to the Bruins during Game 4 of the Panthers' first-round series.
Florida fell behind early, and while Tkachuk was twice able to bring his team within a goal, the Panthers could never find an equalizer. A scrum broke out after the Bruins took a 5-2 lead late, and after Tkachuk goaded goalie Linus Ullmark into dropping his gloves. The 25-year-old winger has two goals and five points through four playoff games, and assuming he doesn't face any league discipline for engaging with Linus Ullmark, Tkachuk will try to keep his squad alive in Game 5 on Wednesday.

Panthers' Matthew Tkachuk: Lone Panthers goal in loss
Tkachuk scored a goal on three shots in Monday's 3-1 loss to the Bruins.
Tkachuk got Florida on the scoresheet midway through the second period, grabbing a loose puck in the slot before beating Linus Ullmark. Tkachuk had an excellent first season with the Panthers, recording a career-high 109 points (40 goals, 69 assists) in 79 regular-season games. Florida will likely need the 25-year-old winger to keep producing at that rate to have any chance of upsetting Boston.
