All the scoring came in the first period, and Lindholm spurred a rally from a 1-0 deficit by helping to set up David Krejci and Jake DeBrusk for tallies. The blueliner is back in his early-season form, and over his last 13 games Lindholm has racked up four goals and 12 points. Lindholm (foot) won't play Sunday against Detroit, Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic reports.
Lindholm is expected to return to the lineup Tuesday against Chicago, according to coach Jim Montgomery. The Bruins defender has picked up eight goals, 42 points, 133 shots on net, 77 blocks, 63 hits and a plus-40 rating in 64 games this season. Derek Forbort will replace Lindholm in the lineup Sunday versus the Red Wings.

Lindholm set up the first of Dmitry Orlov's two tallies in the first period. This was a strong February for Lindholm, who had a goal and seven helpers in 10 games for the month. The 29-year-old blueliner has reached the 40-point mark for the first time in his career, logging seven goals and 33 helpers in just 60 contests. Lindholm set up Patrice Bergeron with a beautiful stretch pass that led to a breakaway where the Bruins' captain beat Juuse Saros with a nice wrist shot. The Swedish defenceman would also pick up an assist on Trent Frederic's goal. This performance extends Lindholm's point streak to two games with three points in that span. On the season, Lindholm has six goals and 36 points in 54 games.

Lindholm opened the scoring in the first period, skating his way into the slot before beating James Reimer with a wrist shot. He added an assist in the second when Nick Foligno deflected his shot past Reimer, extending Boston's lead to 3-0.
