Polk (undisclosed) has been waived with an injury designation by Baltimore, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Polk will revert to the Ravens' injured reserve if he ultimately goes unclaimed on waivers. Polk was competing against a crowded wide-receiver room before the team opted to go in this direction. He spent a few weeks on Baltimore's practice squad after failing to make it through roster cuts at the conclusion of training camp last season.

Polk was claimed off waivers by the Ravens on Tuesday, Ryan Mink of the team's official site reports.
Polk was waived by the Giants after spending last season on their practice squad, and he will now return to Baltimore where he signed as an undrafted free agent in 2022. The 21-year-old will look to compete for a depth spot heading into the upcoming campaign.

Polk signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent in May, though he didn't survive the team's final roster cuts and was eventually cut from the team's practice squad Sept. 27. The 21-year-old then immediately signed with the Giants' practice squad, and he received his first elevation ahead of Saturday's divisional-round loss to the Eagles.
