The Rams activated Brewer (knee) from injured reserve Saturday.
Brewer suffered an MCL sprain Week 10 against the Cardinals and has been out of action since. He was designated to return Dec. 22 but didn't play Week 16 versus Denver. However, Brewer now appears ready to suit up Sunday against the Chargers.

The Rams designated Brewer (knee) to return from their injured reserve list Thursday ahead of Sunday's game versus Denver.
After missing the team's last five games recovering from an MCL sprain, Brewer appears poised to be activated from the injured reserve list within the next couple of weeks. With a ton of injuries plaguing the Rams' offensive line, Brewer may be asked to step into a starting role as soon as he's ready to play again.

Brewer is expected to be sidelined 4-to-6 weeks due to an MCL sprain that will require surgery, so his move to IR is merely transactional. In his absence, Oday Aboushi will likely assume the starting right guard role moving forward.

Brewer suffered the injury in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals and had started the team's last two games at right guard. The loss of the 25-year-old is another blow to the Rams offensive line, which has been ravaged by injuries all season. Oday Aboushi will likely be the next man up at right guard for the Rams on Sunday against the Saints.
