Bengals' Trenton Irwin: Back with Cincinnati
Irwin has agreed to a one-year deal to remain with the Bengals, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The report notes that Irwin's deal with the Bengals is worth $2 million. With the 28-year-old back in the fold and Tyler Boyd a free agent, Irwin should have a chance to compete with Andrei Iosivas and Charlie Jones for WR snaps behind behind Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins (assuming he remains with Cincinnati) this coming season. In 16 regular-season games in 2023, Irwin caught 25 of his 32 targets for 316 yards and a TD.

Bengals' Trenton Irwin: Minimal output in finale
Irwin had two catches for 34 yards in the Bengals' Week 18 win over the Browns. He finished the season with 25 catches for 316 yards and a touchdown.
Irwin had more targets (32) than in 2022 (23 targets), but he might be getting surpassed by Andrei Iosivas and Charlie Jones in 2024.

Bengals' Trenton Irwin: Catches one pass in Week 17
Irwin caught one of the two targets for four yards in Sunday's 25-17 loss to the Chiefs.
Irwin played 50 percent of the Bengals' offensive snaps Sunday, his highest snap share since Week 12. Despite the increased playing time, the veteran wideout was essentially an afterthought on offense. In a crowded receiver room with Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd and Andrei Iosivas, Irwin is an untrustworthy option for fantasy, as the Bengals wrap up their season against the Browns in Week 18.

Bengals' Trenton Irwin: Four grabs in loss
Irwin secured all four of his targets for 37 yards in Saturday's 34-11 loss to the Steelers.
Irwin's four catches were his first receptions since Week 13. The veteran wideout saw increased playing time with Ja'Marr Chase (shoudler) sidelined, playing 41 percent of the Bengals' offensive snaps Saturday. Irwin could see a similar workload in Week 17 if Chase is forced to sit out again, but he'll be difficult to trust for fantasy purposes in a matchup against the Chiefs.
