  • Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: Catches one pass vs. Dallas

Hodge caught one of two targets for nine yards during Sunday's 27-21 win over the Cowboys. Drake London (hip) left the game late in the first quarter and didn't return, thrusting Hodge into an expanded role. He played a season-high 45 offensive snaps, his previous high-water mark was 18, and was targeted for the first time since Week 5, when he had a game-winning touchdown in overtime versus Tampa Bay. London is considered day-to-day, but if he's forced to miss time, Hodge could sneak on fantasy radars, though Darnell Mooney and Ray-Ray McCloud would be the Falcons' top wideouts.

  • Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: No targets in blowout win

Hodge didn't record a target during Sunday's 38-20 win over the Panthers. Hodge played a season-high 13 offensive snaps and caught a game-winning TD in overtime last week. However, aside from those heroics, he's been a non-factor, recording zero targets on 14 offensive snaps across five games.

  • Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: Game-winning catch in OT

Hodge caught both his targets for 67 yards and a touchdown during Thursday's 36-30 overtime win over Tampa Bay. Hodge played only 16 offensive snaps, the fewest among Atlanta's wideouts. However, he ended up playing hero after taking a checkdown pass from Kirk Cousins the distance during the first drive of overtime. Hodge also had a 22-yard catch in the second quarter and was called for offensive pass interference in the red zone during the third quarter. Before Thursday's game, Hodge played primarily on special teams and hadn't recorded a target through four games.

  • Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: Career-high 232 yards in 2023

Hodge finished 2023 with 14 receptions on 23 targets for 232 yards in 17 appearances. Hodge was held without a catch in seven of his 17 appearances and secured just one reception six times. However, a strong three-game stretch from Weeks 7 to 9 (seven receptions on 10 targets for 154 yards) allowed Hodge to post a career-high 232 receiving yards in 2023. Atlanta may retain Hodge by signing him to a one-year deal for a third straight offseason, but with Arthur Smith out of town and his replacement yet to be selected, Hodge's place in the organization isn't the only looming question.

  • Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: One grab against Panthers

Hodge reeled in his lone target for 10 yards in Sunday's 9-7 loss to the Panthers. Hodge recorded just one catch for the second straight week while playing just 19 of the Falcons' 52 offensive snaps in Week 15. The veteran wideout continues to be mostly an afterthought in Atlanta's offensive attack, diminishing his fantasy utility. Hodge will look to get more involved in Week 16 when the Falcons host the Colts.

  • Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: One grab in Week 14

Hodge caught one of two targets for 18 yards in Sunday's 29-25 loss to the Buccaneers. Hodge's one catch was his first since Week 9, when he recorded three receptions for 60 yards in a loss to the Vikings. The 28-year-old wideout played 23 of Atlanta's 72 offensive snaps, behind both Drake London (55) and Van Jefferson (32). Hodge is not seeing enough consistent usage in the Falcon's offense to make him a reliable fantasy option. Heading into a Week 15 matchup with the Panthers, the veteran should remain far off the fantasy radar.

  • Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: Catches three passes in loss

Hodge caught three of six targets for 60 yards during Sunday's 31-28 loss to the Vikings. With Drake London (groin) sidelined and Mack Hollins (ankle) leaving the contest early, Hodge played the most offensive snaps (46) among Atlanta's wideouts. Hodge also paced the group in receiving yards, though tight end Jonnu Smith led the team in receptions and yards through the air. After a quiet start to the season (five receptions on six targets for 64 yards across the first seven games), Hodge has secured six of nine targets for 135 yards over the last two weeks. While that's not prolific production, Hodge has clearly seen an uptick in usage and production since London got hurt. As long as London and Hollins remain banged-up or out, Hodge should be on fantasy radars.

  • Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: One catch in win

Hodge caught his only target for 19 yards in Sunday's 16-13 win over the Buccaneers. Hodge played the fewest offensive snaps (12) of any Falcons wideout, and his 19 yards in the contest matched his season high. The veteran has now totaled just five catches on six targets for 64 yards through seven games of the 2023 campaign. With limited opportunities in Atlanta's offense, Hodge should continue to remain off the fantasy radar when the Falcons visit the Titans in Week 8.

  • Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: Garners one target

Hodge failed to secure his only target during Sunday's 24-16 loss to the Commanders. After Drake London (68), Hodge (29) saw the most snaps among Atlanta's wideouts, though there wasn't much discrepancy between them as Mack Hollins (28), Scotty Miller (28) and Van Jefferson (22) all saw similar playing time. As long as there's this much competition, it'll be difficult for any of the aforementioned pass catchers to garner consistent roles. Hodge has just four receptions (five targets) for 45 yards across six appearances this season.

  • Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: Two touches in win

Hodge caught his only target for 11 yards and rushed once for zero yards during Sunday's 21-19 win over the Texans. Hodge caught a first-down pass on a 2nd-and-10 play in the second quarter, but he wasn't targeted in the pass game the rest of the day. The Falcons tried to get him involved in the red zone on a designed running play early in the fourth quarter, but he couldn't handle a direct snap cleanly. Hodge's role continues to increase each week -- he played a season-high 36 offensive snaps versus Houston -- but he's yet to see more than two touches in a game this year.

  • Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: First multi-catch game of 2023

Hodge caught both of his targets for 19 yards during Sunday's 23-7 loss to Jacksonville. Hodge didn't record a target across 16 offensive snaps over the first two games of the season, but he's been more involved the last two weeks, totaling three receptions (three targets) for 34 yards across 26 offensive snaps. While Hodge's production has increased, it's been in modest increments, and it's been difficult for fantasy managers to trust any Falcons pass catchers thus far.

  • Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: Catches first pass of 2023

Hodge caught his only target for 15 yards during Sunday's 20-6 loss to the Lions. Hodge played 16 offensive snaps through the first two weeks of the season and was held without a catch. However, he got on the board in Week 3, securing a first-down grab late in the fourth quarter. Hodge has been playing more on special teams than he has on offense to begin 2023, so he currently doesn't hold much fantasy value.

  • Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: Will play Week 1

Hodge (ankle) is active for Sunday's matchup against the Panthers, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. After being limited Wednesday due to an ankle injury, Hodge logged back-to-back full sessions to end the week. However, the depth wideout still received a questionable tag. It's not surprising to see the veteran cleared, but he'll presumably play the majority of his snaps on special teams while Drake London, Mack Hollins and Scotty Miller handle most of the wideout snaps.

  • Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: Back to fully practicing

Hodge (ankle) was a full participant at practice Thursday ahead of Sunday's game versus Carolina, Scott Blair of the Falcons' official site reports. After progressing from missing practice Monday to registering a limited practice Wednesday, Hodge was back up to full speed Thursday. He figures to run primarily out of the slot for Atlanta again in 2023 and will try to improve on the 20 targets he drew a season ago.

  • Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: Limited practice Wednesday

Hodge (ankle) was a limited participant at the Falcons' practice Wednesday, Scott Bair of the team's official website reports. Hodge was a non-participant to open the week, so Wednesday's limited practice opens the door for him to be active Sunday versus the Panthers. The wide receiver is expected to operate as an option out of the slot once healthy.

  • Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: Not practicing Monday

Hodge (ankle) did not practice Monday, D.Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Hodge has been unable to participate in football activities since sustaining an ankle injury during the second week of preseason. If Hodge were unable to go for the Week 1 matchup versus Carolina, his absence would create a vacancy in the slot that second-year receiver Josh Ali is suited to fill.

  • Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: Injures ankle Friday

Hodge won't return to Friday's preseason game against the Bengals due to an ankle injury, NFL.com reports. On his only catch of the evening, a seven-yarder, Hodge was twisted to the ground and had some difficulty getting to the sideline. Once he was there, he was examined by the Falcons' training staff before he was ruled out. The severity of the injury isn't known but likely will become more clear after the team does a battery of tests.

  • Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: Re-ups with Atlanta

The Falcons re-signed Hodge to a one-year contract, the team announced Tuesday. The 28-year-old has bounced around the league since entering it as an undrafted free agent out of Prairie View A&M in 2018, but Hodge has settled in as a core special teams player and depth wideout. He set career highs on offense last season with 13 catches for 202 yards and his first NFL touchdown.

  • Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: Minimal role in passing attack

Hodge reeled in his lone target for five yards during Sunday's 20-19 victory over the Cardinals. Hodge played the fourth-most snaps among Atlanta's wide receivers, but after securing a five-yard catch on the Falcons' opening offensive drive, the fifth-year wideout wasn't targeted again. The reception marked Hodge's first since Week 11, so it's safe to presume he won't offer much fantasy production during Sunday's regular-season finale against Tampa Bay. Across 16 appearances, Hodge has totaled 13 receptions on 20 targets for 202 yards and one touchdown.

  • Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: Zero receptions on two targets

Hodge failed to catch either of his targets during Sunday's 19-16 loss against Pittsburgh. Hodge played just six offensive snaps and was targeted on two of them, but he failed to record a reception. The fifth-year wideout has 12 receptions for 197 yards and one touchdown this season, but he's been held without a catch in seven of his 13 appearances.
