Pederson played 10 snaps (eight offensive) during the Jaguars' preseason finale but didn't see a target. The 2021 undrafted tight end out of Louisiana Monroe has yet to play in a regular-season game and will likely have to settle for a practice-squad deal if he clears waivers.

Jaguars' Josh Pederson: Signs with Jacksoville
Pederson and the Jaguars agreed on a contract Monday, John Shipley of SI.com reports.
Pederson will head to Jacksonville after being let go by the Chiefs prior to the 2022 campaign. The tight end has yet to make his NFL debut after going undrafted in 2021 following a collegiate career at Louisiana Monroe, and he'll look to at least crack the Jaguars' practice squad in 2023.

The Chiefs signed Pederson to a reserve/future contract Thursday, Mike Kaye of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.
Pederson was waived by New Orleans ahead of the regular season and failed to land another roster spot during the 2021 campaign. He'll now attempt to carve out a role with Kansas City during the offseason.
