Brady Breeze: Works out for Lions
Breeze worked out with the Lions on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Breeze reached an injury settlement with the Lions in late August following an undisclosed injury, but the safety was back with the team Tuesday for a workout. The 25-year-old could join Detroit's practice squad in the near future.

Brady Breeze: Reaches settlement
Breeze (undisclosed) reached an injury settlement with the Lions on Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Breeze was waived with an injury designation on Aug. 16. He was expected to compete for a backup job at safety before he suffered his injury. Breeze will now seek opportunities elsewhere, if he can prove that he's healthy.

The Lions waived Breeze (undisclosed) with an injury designation Tuesday.
Breeze picked up an unclear health concern at some point this preseason, resulting in his elimination from Detroit's 90-man offseason roster. The 2021 sixth-round pick appears set to land on the Lions' IR after he presumably passes through waivers unclaimed.

Lions' Brady Breeze: Competing for backup role
Breeze is in the mix for a backup job at safety, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
DeShon Elliott is the favorite to join Tracy Walker in the starting lineup, but second-year Oregon product Breeze appears to be competing with Ifeatu Melifonwu and C.J. Moore for snaps behind them. While second-round draft pick Kerby Joseph should also be in the fold before long, Breeze ultimately seems to have a good shot at a roster spot this fall.

Titans' Brady Breeze: Activated from IR
Breeze was activated from injured reserve Tuesday, following an ankle injury.
The rookie has yet to make his career debut but will have an opportunity to do just that in Week 7 against the Chiefs. He will be another bench option at free safety behind Kevin Byard, making him more likely to make an impact on special teams.

Breeze (ankle) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Breeze has had a difficult start to the season, as he also landed on the reserve/COVID-19 list in early September. He's now eligible to return to practice and can be activated at any point within the next 21 days. Breeze was a sixth-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, so it's unclear what type of role he may be able to claim upon his return.

Breeze (ankle) reverted to injured reserve from the COVID-19 list Thursday, John Glennon of BroadwaySportsMedia.com reports.
Breeze landed on injured reserve with the ankle injury Sept. 3, but he was moved to the COVID list a few days later after testing positive for the virus. He's now cleared the health and safety protocols and is back on injured reserve, and he'll be eligible to be activated following Week 3.

Breeze was placed on injured reserve late last week, but he now has to contend with COVID-19. The 23-year-old will revert to injured reserve once he clears the health and safety protocols, and he'll remain there for at least the first three games of the season.

Breeze was shaken up just before halftime and had to be helped off the field before he was carted away on the sidelines. The severity of the 2021 sixth-rounder's injury isn't yet clear, but it wouldn't be surprising to see the Titans hold him out for the remainder of the exhibition game.
