Dye (wrist) logged 17 total tackles, including 1.0 sack, while also forcing one fumble in 15 games during the 2023 regular season. • Vikings' Marcus Davenport: High-ankle sprain ends season

Davenport logged seven total tackles including 2.0 sacks in four games during the 2023 regular season. Davenport's first season in Minnesota was cut short by a high-ankle sprain suffered in Week 4. The 2018 first-round pick out of UTSA was only on a one-year deal, so he'll hit the open market once again this offseason. Given his injury history -- he's played more than 11 games only once in the last four seasons -- the 27-year-old could very well end up having to settle for another short-term, prove-it deal.

  • Vikings' Pat Jones: Impresses down stretch

Jones logged 32 total tackles, including 1.0 sack and an additional four tackles for loss, in 17 games during the 2023 regular season. In the Vikings' final three games, Jones racked up 16 total tackles, including 1.0 sacks and two additional tackles for loss. The 26-year-old also saw the most snaps he's seen as a pass rusher in his career in 2023 (388) and finished third on the team with 32 pressures, almost 20 more than he had in 2022. Jones is heading into the final season of his rookie contract, and he'll likely continue to contribute as a rotational pass rusher.

  • Vikings' Byron Murphy: Continues to produce in Minnesota

Murphy recorded 57 total tackles, 13 pass deflections, including three interceptions, and one forced fumble in 14 games with the Vikings during the 2023 regular season. Murphy was held out of the Vikings' last three games of the year due to a knee issue, but he was easily the team's most productive corner when healthy. In his first season of a two-year, $17.5 million deal that he signed with Minnesota this past offseason, the 26-year-old led the team in both pass deflections and interceptions. Murphy has struggled to stay on the field as of late though, missing 11 games over the past two seasons. Expect the Washington product to continue playing at a high level for the Vikings' defense in a contract-year in 2024.
