  • Bears' Terell Smith: Won't be playing in London

Smith (hip) won't travel with the Bears to London for their Week 6 game against the Jaguars, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports. Smith has sat out of Chicago's last two games as he's tended to a hip issue, and now he'll miss his third contest in a row as he continues to recover. He's played 23 total snaps so far this season, 22 of which came on special teams.

  • Bears' Zacch Pickens: Won't play in London

Pickens (groin) is not traveling with the Bears to London for their Week 6 game against the Jaguars, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports. Pickens has missed four of Chicago's first five games of the season as he's dealt with a groin injury, and he'll now have to wait until after the team's bye in Week 7 to return to action. Until then, Chris Williams should continue to rotate in more frequently on the interior of the defensive line.

  • Bears' Jaquan Brisker: In concussion protocol

Brisker displayed concussion symptoms Monday and isn't traveling with the Bears to London ahead of the team's Week 6 game against the Jaguars, Dan Wiederer of the Chicago Tribune reports. Brisker presumably sustained the concussion in Sunday's victory over Carolina. He finished the game with five tackles (three solo), one pass defensed and one forced fumble on 49 snaps (84 percent), marking the first time all season that he didn't play every snap on defense. While Brisker still has time to clear the five-step concussion protocol prior to Sunday's game against Jacksonville, the fact that he didn't travel with the team likely suggests that the Bears aren't counting on him being available. Elijah Hicks or Jonathan Owens will likely start at safety alongside Kevin Byard if Brisker is ruled out for Week 6.

Dexter posted a sack and three tackles in the Bears' 36-10 win over the Panthers on Sunday. Dexter has 4.0 sacks in five games while averaging three tackles. His ability to sack the quarterback has given him excellent upside potential at the defensive tackle position.

  • Bears' Terell Smith: Ruled out for Week 5

Smith (hip) has been rule out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Panthers, Scott Bair of Marquee Sports Network reports. Smith didn't practice all week after missing the Bears' Week 4 win over the Rams due to a hip injury, so it's no surprise that he won't play in Sunday's contest. With Smith sidelined for another week, expect Jaylon Jones to continue seeing increased work as a rotational outside cornerback.

Edwards accounted for nine tackles in the Bears' 24-18 win over the Rams on Sunday. After posting 23 tackles in the Bears' first two games, Edwards recorded just two tackles last week. The linebacker got back on track this week with nine stops, and he should still be considered a high-floor IDP option with ceiling potential at linebacker.

Sweat recorded three tackles and a sack in the Bears' 24-18 win over the Rams on Sunday. Sweat is averaging two tackles per game, but he now has sacks in back-to-back contests. Sweat remains a sack-dependent IDP with a low ceiling in terms of tackles.
