Bradley McDougald: Released by Tennessee
The Titans cut McDougald on Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official website reports.
McDougald started Sunday's game against the Seahawks and played 40 of the team's 54 defensive snaps. The 10-year veteran appeared in seven games with the Jets last season before injuring his shoulder. He should garner some interest from teams in search of depth in their secondary.

Bradley McDougald: Cut by Tennessee
McDougald was released by the Titans on Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
McDougald joined the Titans in mid-August and made the team's initial 53-man roster, but he was let go ahead of Sunday's season opener against the Cardinals. However, he'll stick around the organization after signing with the practice squad.

Titans' Bradley McDougald: Picked up by Titans
McDougald and the Titans came to terms on a contract Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
McDougald spent his first four seasons in Tampa Bay before stints with the Seahawks and Jets over the last four years. His season was cut short in 2020 after shoulder surgery. He will now look to add a veteran presence to the Titans' defensive backfield. Look for him to compete with the likes of Tedric Thompson and Brady Breeze (ankle) for a depth strong safety role.

Jets' Bradley McDougald: May not return this year
McDougald is recovering from shoulder surgery and appears unlikely to return this year, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
McDougald was eligible to start practicing last week after spending three weeks on IR. However, the 30-year-old safety is still recovering from last month's surgery and is in danger of missing the rest of the season. The nature of McDougald's injury is still unclear. Rookie third-round pick Ashtyn Davis will start at free safety for the time being. McDougald's set to be an unrestricted free agent in March.

Jets' Bradley McDougald: Heads to IR
The Jets placed McDougald (shoulder) on injured reserve Saturday.
McDougald sat out practice all week and was already ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Chiefs. He'll be required to miss three weeks, but because the Jets are on bye Week 10, McDougald can return to the lineup after missing just two games. Rookie Ashtyn Davis is expected to bump into a starting safety role alongside Marcus Maye until McDougald can return.

McDougald (shoulder) is ruled out for Sunday's game in Kansas City, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
McDougald's shoulder injury will force him to miss his first game of the 2020 campaign. Rookie third-round pick Ashtyn Davis will be the favorite to start across from Marcus Maye against the Chiefs, and for as long as McDougald remains sidelined.

McDougald will miss his second straight practice due to a shoulder injury. Unless the starting safety is able to upgrade to at least limited participation Friday, it looks like he'll be in legitimate danger of missing Sunday's game in Kansas City.
