Cowboys defensive back C.J. Spillman was investigated for sexual assault while with the 49ers, according to the San Jose Mercury News.
Charges against Spillman were never filed due to "insufficient evidence." At the time, Spillman denied the charges. He is currently being investigated on a different sexual assault charge. Spillman has played while the investigation is ongoing.
