The Cardinals released their first depth chart on Monday. No major surprises but here are some of the highlights.
The Cardinals released their first depth chart on Monday. No major surprises but here are some of the highlights.
- Kevin Kolb is listed as the No. 1 quarterback with John Skelton as his backup.
- Jeremy Bridges is listed as the right tackle starter ahead of rookie Bobby Massie, the team’s fourth-round pick who will likely need plenty of seasoning before he can supplant Bridges.
- Todd Heap is the No. 1 tight end, Rob Housler is No. 2, but Jeff King doesn’t factor in yet because he’s still on the active PUP list (quadriceps).
- At wide receiver, Larry Fitzgerald and Andre Roberts are listed as starters. Rookie Michael Floyd is third on the depth chart behind Roberts and Early Doucet.
- William Gay is the No. 1 right cornerback across from left corner Patrick Peterson. Greg Toler is listed as Gay’s backup. Michael Adams is Peterson’s backup.
- O’Brien Schofield is listed ahead of veteran Clark Haggans at left outside linebacker.
