Veteran cornerback Champ Bailey (foot) has been ruled out of the season opener Thursday night against Baltimore, the Denver Post is reporting. He has been sidelined since spraining the foot on August 17.
His possible replacement will be Chris Harris, who is accustomed to playing in the slot. If Harris remains in that role against the Ravens, he will line up against former Broncos receiver Brandon Stokley. Tony Carter would then replace Bailey as a starter.
