  • Guardians' Tanner Bibee: Fans eight in victory

Bibee (2-0) picked up the win Sunday, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks over 5.2 innings. He struck out eight.

Bibee allowed a solo shot in the fourth frame to Brent Rooker, marking his fourth consecutive start allowing a long ball. However, he hit the eight-strikeout threshold for the second time this season and got himself in the win column. Bibee has stepped up in the absence of Shane Bieber (elbow), delivering two or fewer earned runs in two straight starts and lasting at least five innings in each appearance. He's tentatively scheduled for a matchup with Atlanta next weekend.

  • Guardians' Tanner Bibee: Stingy in no-decision

Bibee came away with a no-decision in Tuesday's 10-7 extra-innings win over the Red Sox, allowing one run on five hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out three.

A solo shot by Enmanuel Valdez in the fourth inning accounted for the only damage off Bibee, who tossed 60 of 92 pitches before exiting with a 5-1 lead. Unfortunately for Bibee and fantasy managers, the Guardians' bullpen couldn't secure his second win of the year. Bibee will take a 4.82 ERA, 1.71 WHIP and 18:10 K:BB through 18.2 innings into his next outing, which lines up for a rematch with the Red Sox early next week back in Cleveland.

  • Guardians' Tanner Bibee: Allows five runs in no-decision

Bibee (1-0) pitched 4.1 innings during Wednesday's win over the White Sox, allowing five runs on six hits while walking three and striking out two. He didn't factor in the decision

Bibee was victimized by Gavin Sheets early as the first baseman doubled home a run in the first inning and then launched a three-run shot in the third to put the Guardians in an early 5-0 hole. The 25-year-old right-hander was unable to make it through five innings for the second time in his first three starts, allowing a season-high five earned runs, though he managed to avoid the loss thanks to Cleveland's late comeback. He'll look to lower his 5.93 ERA next week when the Guardians travel to Boston to take on the Red Sox.

  • Guardians' Tanner Bibee: Strikes out nine in first win

Bibee (1-0) earned the win versus Minnesota on Thursday, allowing one run on five hits while striking out nine over 5.1 innings.

After a so-so first start this year, Bibee was excellent Thursday, allowing a lone run on an Edouard Julien homer in the fifth inning while matching his career high with nine strikeouts. The 25-year-old Bibee's allowed four runs on 11 hits while striking out 13 through his first 9.1 innings this season after going 10-4 with a 2.98 ERA and 141:45 K:BB as a rookie. He's tentatively lined up to take the mound at home versus the White Sox in his next outing.

  • Guardians' Tanner Bibee: Walks five in no-decision

Bibee gave up three earned runs on six hits and five walks over four innings during Saturday's 12-3 win over the Athletics. He struck out four and didn't factor in the decision.

Bibee threw just 50 of his 88 pitches for strikes as he failed to stick around long enough to qualify for the victory. It's a disappointing season debut for the right-hander after he posted a 2.98 ERA in 25 starts as a rookie last season, particularly since he was facing a poor offense in a pitcher's park. Bibee tentatively lines up to face the Twins next week in his second start.
