Strzelecki was not particularly sharp during spring training, but the 2.83 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 40:15 K:BB he posted over 35.0 innings out of Milwaukee's bullpen in 2022 helped him break camp with the big club for the first time in his career. Roles are up for grabs in the Brewers' bullpen behind closer Devin Williams, and Strzelecki will have a chance to be part of the late-inning mix.

Strzelecki entered the game in the ninth inning with a 3-0 lead and set Arizona down in order to earn the first save of his career. The save opportunity was likely a product of the Brewers being out of playoff contention and manager Craig Counsell opting to give some of the younger players a look.
