Severino was placed on the 15-day injured list Saturday after leaving Friday's start early due to an injury to his left side. Though the rookie right-hander has been coming out of the bullpen of late, 13 of his 20 big-league outings have been as a starter, and he's compiled a 4.83 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 57:26 K:BB over 76.1 innings overall. Brito began his major-league career allowing just one run over his first 10 innings earlier this season, though his effectiveness tailed off after that, as he allowed four-plus earned runs on three occasions. He struggled with a 7.08 ERA And 17:10 K:BB over 20.1 frames after being sent down to Triple-A in late May, so he's a risky fantasy proposition moving forward despite Wednesday's excellent outing. In addition, Brito may not stick in the rotation for long with both Carlos Rodon (back/forearm) and Nestor Cortes (shoulder) making progress in their respective returns from injury.
