Yu Darvish labored, and the defense was leaky. Off-day next, then three in KC. Padres are 30-29.

AJ Cassavell@AJCassavell7H agoYu Darvish's day is done after three laborious innings. He threw 66 pitches and allowed six hits and a number of deep counts. Still, Darvish managed to limit the damage a bit, even with some sloppy defending behind him. Padres trail 3-1 as Stephen Kolek takes over in the fourth.

AJ Cassavell@AJCassavell1D agoFinal: Padres 4, Marlins 0 Estrada added a 13th consecutive strikeout, which is the most by a pitcher since at least 1961. That streak will remain intact into his next outing. Matt Waldron was also dominant tonight, and Jurickson Profar provided most of the offense.
