Chase Headley is drawing a lot of interest, and the asking price for Zack Greinke might be too high for the Rangers, according to ESPN's Buster Olney.

  • Olney noted that Chase Headley might be the most sought-after player on the trade market. Many teams believe Headley will improve once he gets out of Petco Park. Headley has been much better away from Petco over his career, hitting .299/.366/.445.
  • The Rangers could have landed Zack Greinke in a deal one-and-a-half years ago had they included shortstop Jurickson Profar. This time around, the asking price may again be too high for the Rangers.
  • The Rangers could offer third baseman Mike Olt to the Phillies for Cole Hamels. Olney noted that this would be ideal for both teams as Olt is blocked by Adrian Beltre in Texas, and the Phillies need help at third.
  • Olney said Russell Branyan would be a good fit for the Dodgers
